cr0w,

Nice displays.
What lights did you use for your Detolfs? I am still searching for a decent wire-free one for mine?

That cape looks really good, cr0w. That's the one thing all customs completely failed on and I'm so glad HT got it right.

It's the most exciting part of this figure for me. Having had a custom Keaton, and been pretty content with the headsculpt and knowing Billiken came pretty close to this sculpt, the cape is really the failure point of every figure attempt before this and it's finally done right. I also look forward to hand swapping and being able to use accessories, that limit bothered me a bit on my Sovereign Batman.

Wo, never seen this pic. wow!

I wish there were a bigger copy of it out there, and that the shot were in the film, but oh well, at least there's a copy of it out there.

I have had this and the Joker ordered for awhile now

Getting excited there almost here

I got a 4-light LED set from Ikea for $29.99. It's not wireless, I just strategically placed the wires so they wouldn't be too noticeable.

Yep, the DIODER set. I use the "bar" version of them for my 4 Detolf setup....1 across the top of each one.

Hey Crow, what mod(s) did you do to your OC Batman's cowl/neck to allow the downward tilt? Looks awesome :rock

Weltmaster inspired me to try angle shots :wink1:
lol :) happy to inspire

Been experimenting with different cape looks

An idea I had after watching Batman Forever

But here is a tip if trying to achieve the cape-over-the-shoulder look, try to keep only the leather side of the cape visible and try to hide the other material.

The material that you should try to hide is shown in red...and everything below that.

Because you might have noticed that there are 2 parts from the inside of the cape that are made in the same leather as the outside of the cape, the logical conclusion for that is so that we can pose our batman figure with the cape hanging over his shoulders. ;)

If you pose it in the way I explained it will look more or less like this:

Here I tried to do exactly that, and you can see almost no other fabric hanging in the shoulderarea than leather:

As you can see, the other fabric is tucked neatly under the leather parts.
But, its not easy to do and took me a long time fussing around...

In time I can even see me buying myself a spare cape to tinker with so I can achieve an even more movie acurate over the shoulder cape pose. It might take some cutting and stitching to do it right.

Thanks I'll try some of your suggestions, do you like my pics, I'm trying not to do the usual that everyone is seeing posted, it's not my style, that's why I'm trying different poses, it is an figure after all :wink1:

Sounds like fun! I can't wait! :banana

I'm in the U.K and have mine on pre-order from Forbidden Planet . I've never anticipated a figure so much in all my years of collecting and seeing as I've had some bad experiences with F.P in the past , I'm incredibly nervous about receiving my figure ! ( I had the original Pred on pre-order years back , only for it never to appear ! Ironically , F.P's ____ up worked in my favour once when they emailed me telling me I wouldn't receive the ( first issue ) Joker figure I had on pre-order , only for me to receive another email MONTHS later , informing they had my figure in stock and it was ready to dispatch . At this point I'd given up all hope as they were virtually impossible to track down at the time !)It's going to be a looooong 3 weeks !
