Super Freak
I've had this guy for two days and haven't opened it yet. Probably should get on that.
And here I am waiting impatiently for mine from my local dealer who won't get it til March.

Batarang!
I havent been able to get mine off either....I figured I better quit while I'm ahead before I damage the paint job.
Long story short , I spent a lot of that summer appearing at local events, fairs ,shows etc , in my home made Batman oufit ! It was built from VERY little reference , ( basically the posters sent to promote the film ) but was surprisingly accurate , though extremely uncomfortable .
I'm the guy at the back with the big ears .
I understand Karnis' hesitation with the face plates. Mine are a bear to switch out.
There must be a trick to it that I don't know I'm doing, cos I haven't had any trouble.

Run it under some hot water and stretch it a bit.
so if I could do a quick run down of the QC problems people are having.
1. No holes or not opened up holes in the cape to put the rods in.
2. Some oil residue that can be wiped off and not visual afterwards.
3. Tight belt possibly constricting the rubber.
4. Hard to swap out face plates.
Does that about cover it?

Just poke it with the tip, should open right up. Just don't push to hard or you'll make the hole too big.
