Everybody seems to think the over-the-shoulder thing is just a matter of pulling the cape back up and over so that the inside lining of the cape is facing up.

It's not.

The way the look was achieved for the promotional photos was to tuck the cape back in and over itself so that the outer edge is what's along his shoulders and down his arms.

I think that would look too thick with this 1/6 cape.

^^^ Agreed. If the cape was 1-ply like the actual cape, that would look much better. But with the added inner lining, folding it in & over itself looks too bulky IMHO...I tried that early on & didnt like it.

Isn't the first part of the inside of the cape covered with the same leathery material as the outside of the cape? So when you just pull it back and over, it is still leathery on the outside, achieving the same look as the actual cape in promotional shots?

It looks like I fixed my "short-legged Johnny" 89 Bats. Another member said he had the same problem & after futzing with it he somehow fixed it, just wasn't sure exactly how.

Well, I straightened out the legs, grabbed it tight around the ankles & knees, and banged it flat footed on the table until that sucker evened out.

I think the leg wasn't fully seated in the hip socket because I felt a slight "pop" and that seemed to do it.

Thinking about buying a second cape, but man they ain't cheap.

So not worth it. :nono

I'm going to need a second cape, mine is getting wasted :slap

:nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:

Except for the fact that every single one of you guys trying this technique so far has been doing it wrong... :slap

Nice.

Let's see how you have done yours.

I assume HT designed the cape that way for that very reason.

You look 1:1.
