All thats missing is, night time, moonlight, a floor door and a cathedral.

It can be truly said, that I have a bat in my belfry.

Ever find it annoying when later on you find out it wasn't what he said? sometimes it sounded like, I have a bat in my pants.

Voudoun that was :rotfl editing, the funny thing is that everytime I see the joker falling to his death I can't believe they did some bad animation that didn't fit :lol I know it was 1989, but they still could've done a little more in terms of creativity for his death. The scream was classic though! :lol

Do you have it on PO with SS? This is my first DX. I'm curious to see if I think the PERS are that big a deal.:dunno

Its cool to be able to move the eyes but it can make them look cartoony as in the DX01 and 02 and one has to wonder is it worth it. Looks like they've improved the appearance a bit but you've still got the problem of the eyes being unusually deep-set compared to painted eyes and of course Indy's infamous eyeliner.

I also have my last flex pay tommorow and talked to sideshow monday and asked if could pay early then and hinted still waitin to arrive...but they wont ship until 5 days after last flex payment...but not too much longer for this one ....

I have this and Joker on PO through AE. I do have DX01 and as a-dev stated with that figure it can look cartoony at times BUT it really makes the figure so much versatile when it comes to display options, it's infinite. It looks like they have improved much since the initial DX releases. Personally I could go without the PERS. Mine broke on my Joker and really it's just another gimmick. When I first got it I was in love with it. Now that the novelty is over I just want a great sculpt with the regular HT paint job on eyes, which is great on it's own. I'm really siked for these though because not only is it Batman and Joker 89 this too is my first real DX purchase. I stated in another post that I bought DX01 in parts over time, so the whole brand new boxed DX experience was lost on me. Can't wait!!:yess:

This is another reason I'm not all about PERS. It compromises the likeness....sometimes.

That's odd, because for better or worse, this is what CSC had to say:

"Last I heard (as of yesterday) is that Sideshow is not expecting their shipment to clear customs till the 23rd and that our full shipment will be available shortly after. I won't have a definite date until I get our shipping notice the night before arrival."

And for anyone wondering about the Joker:

"Unfortunately Joker will be processed in a similar fashion where 2 waves of shipments will be sent, retail orders will be fulfilled with the much larger 2nd shipment."

I personally don't mind the Joker taking a while, as I'm not as excited to receive him as I am Batman, and could actually use the extra time to gather more funds.

What if you have pre-paid in full for both of these from day one? :wave

:impatient::impatient::impatient:

That would suck! :lol

Yup! The way sideshow treats their distributors with this split shipment BS is super frustrating.

Should be first pay, first ship. I get stuff at the time I have funds. That way, I don't need to worry about paying when something decides to show up.

I hear you, I've done that myself in the past. I stopped with my last few orders to avoid having to cancel figures I later decided were impulse buys, and to free up funds for customs while I wait for them.

The worst was the DX02 and waiting for the DCD batch, I paid him off day 1.
