I have that same Hot Wheels Batmobile as well, mint in the box, or so I thought, since 2003. When I checked on it again, I found some paint bubbles on the right fender.

Nice pics everyone! The more I customize my bd version, the more I wish that HT's did a BD version, 
Oh well, I guess I have to settle for mine for now, but I hope we get a BD version in the future.

I got mine a few days ago, I have to admit it's a pretty stunning figure. I lucked out with my PERS system fitting properly and no oil that I can see anywhere. The accessories are also pretty impressive. About the only thing I don't like is the extremely thin wire that is in the cape, it's so thin I wasn't even sure there was a wire until I remembered Michael Crawford's review.

Thanks, Adam! As much as I love the cape draped forward look, I felt like it was a shame to cover up all the details of the suit
Yep! There's a single paper clip, centered in the back, holding the folds on both sides together. And I was able to hide it with the upper folds which is nice.

In order to bring it down enough to look passable from the front it looks like ass from the side.
Anyway, I am not exchanging or dealing with any of that. I just believe there could have been better options for the PERS.

Seriously after having two Keaton Bat bad boys,as well as the Joker, HTs has got to step up the sculpting on TDKRS HS!
It's funny how they got the non mask Bale likeness spot on, but the masked HS looks like an old man wearing a mask, they chose the wrong expression for TDK DX Bats

I wouldn't be surprised if Hot Toys milked the '89 license with convention exclusives like they've done with Predator, Iron Man and Batman Begins.
In addition to the upcoming "Civilian Joker" I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibility to eventually see,
- Battle Damaged Batman (Almost like the Demon Batman, a full reuse of the DX '89 figure but with burns/damage to the suit, new face plates, etc.
- Uncle Bingo Joker or some other type of Joker variation.
I have done my best to hide it from front view.

Your right it looks awful from the side. Looks like something plonked on his head instead of fitting on and fitting in. Was planning on buying this soon but that pic is making me have doubts.

That's my only problem with this Batman figure. The PERS panel. It's never flush with the head.
The headsculpt is literally perfect but then they had to jack up the profile and back with a wonky panel. There had to have been another way.
It's ironic too because, to date, this is the best PERS on a DX figure in terms of looks and function. As dumb as the panel is, it's not enough to not get the figure. Everything else is fantastic. The articulation, the suit, the headsculpt, everything.
