If anyone sells a Batman 1989 cowl with working PERS - please let me know. I just broke the PERS on mine and after a try-to-repair-session i made it even worse and now the only way is to get a new one. Thanks guys.

Really sorry to hear that. Does PERS break easily? I've always suspected it would so I try not to touch any of mine.

Yeah, that would be my main choice but two of the four screws on the PERS panel turn freely without coming out. So i don't know how to remove them.

If anyone here is willing to sell a head with working PERS at a reasonable price please let me know. Thank you
The screws are hard to get out. I just kept trying till I got them out. Crap advise, I know, but I dont have anything else. Besides, unless you're crafty with epoxy there no way to really "fix" it if it is indeed broken. So, if you get the back panel off you'll just have to leave it off, but you'll be able to move the eyes independently. If you go back a little bit into the thread I actually took off my panel to show a boardie in the same circumstances as yourself what the insides looked like.

After trying for a long time i was able to get the screws out and yeah, the PERS system is broken :slap, so i did what you said in those posts, just took out the piece that holds both eyes together and now i can move the eyes independently, it is a bit annoying to do so but i can live with that. Thanks for the help Fiend :hi5:. Although i have another question, if i want to pull the eyes out of the sockets in the future, do i only have to use some pliers and pull them out?? Or are the eyes glued to the sockets??

Just got this, my second HT (after Reeve Supes) and the first I've opened up. Took a quick glance, didn't even remove anything from packaging. I'm just blown away by this, I can't believe there are toys of this caliber out there.

The eyes look fine, I'm not touching the PERS. I've read too many horror stories and it's no longer in stock, so it wouldn't be easy, or cheap, to replace.

This kind of emotion should really be reserved for getting married, buying your first home or witnessing the birth of a child, but it'll do for now.

^Congrats Yankee! Really is an awesome piece that I'm also happy to own. You should at least check to make sure the PERS works, in case there's something wrong. But yeah, then I'd leave the eyes alone.

Really great pose with the cape there Nick! Looks awesome :clap Here was mine back in the day before I sold my Batcave Diorama and now have my DX09 sitting in the cockpit of my Batmobile.

However, I'm looking into building another diorama for the upcoming DX15 (to also display alongside my Batmobile) at this stage I'm not sure whether it will be another batcave type background or may even attempt the vault door diorama? :horror

Amazing work Roberto! Love that Batcave diorama.

Thanks so much bro :clap much appreciated :) Believe it or not, but that Batcave diorama was completely made from Polystyrene and weighed no more than a few hundred grams :horror which was excellent when it came to moving it about. The majority of the weight came from the grouting which I applied to the design to reinforce the foundations of the sculpt before painting it. Whole thing took about 6 hours to complete and most of that time was waiting for the grouting and paint to dry ;)

Sad to sell it on as it was sculpted freehand so attempting to recreate the exact same design would probably be virtually impossible but then again I'm sure I can try to make it look kinda similar. Now I cant wait for the DX15 to get put up by Sideshow for Pre Order. Then my Batman/Batmobile Display will be complete :)

Love the design of the base Roberto!

Thanks Jay :duff appreciate the kind words. You can see more pics of the base and pretty much most of my collection by clicking on the Instagram icon on the left hand side of my posts beneath my avatar :hi5:

P.S. and yes, before you ask...the picture on my Instagram is my full sleeve Marvel tattoo ;)

Thanks for the great comments my friend :hi5: appreciate it :) and congrats on your new purchase :clap With your Superman figure already inhand, you'll have arguably two of Hot Toys best ever figures in your possession...what a start!! :clap

Thanks, man! :hi5: They don't exist in the same cinematic universe, but for some reason, Reeve Supes and Keaton Bats just go together, more so than Cavill Supes and Batfleck, at least for me.

totally agree :exactly: which is why I had to get them both in PF version too ;) Cant wait for those to start shiping!

P.S. Btw, if you wanted an easy idea on how to display your Superman 1/6 Figure, you can see my display for mine on my Instagram account (just click the icon below my username) and just scroll through the pics. Hope you like it :hi5:
