That cape and that base looks sensational! Love it, great job man! Where'd you get that cape?

Has someone tony mei's cape, or some kind of cape that looks good on the figure? I've recently bought it and the cape is freakin nightmare...

I have the Tony Mei cape. Here are a couple of pics I posted the day it arrived. I've futzed it a little better since then, but I'm at work at the moment.
Last week, I finally got Tony Mei's Final DX09 Cape! I love it!

I'm considering picking up one of these (either this or the Reeve Superman). How's it held up over time? I understand tightness in the elbows is an issue but it seems like overall the figure doesn't have a lot of major issues.

I've had no major issues. I had him posed with his arms spread, holding out his cape for years. No problems. Reeve Supes is awesome too! I have both, but this Batman was my first ever Hot Toys figure. I saw him on display in 2012, and had to have him. I've been hooked on these figures ever since.

Can someone else please post pics of their Tony Mei cape? I'm thinking mine may be sewn inside out... the seams are on the leathery side. Here are pics:
The leathery side is definitely facing outward:

The inside has a cloth texture that I certainly wouldn't display on the outside:

But the seam is clearly on the outside:

Finally gotyself a DX09 courtesy of Rory in the marketplace.

When this figure was released, sixth scales were outside of my price range. I figured that I would only buy RoboCop: my grail figure. Later, although I knew RoboCop was the right choice, I regretted that I had been unable to get this figure also. I eventually got the Returns figure as a consolation prize, but it's just not the same.

Today I have 12 figures (not counting this one) and I figured I could finally afford the aftermarket price (and Rory's price was very fair).

I'm thrilled to have this figure after years of wanting it. This film was my introduction Batman; it's very important to me.

Although the possibility isn't ideal, it's an incredibly striking piece. I also was surprised to find the cape wasn't as problematic as I expected; it's hard to get a natural drape, but it works for a windswept look. We'll see if it stays put.

Just watched the movie again today as I totally redesigned my shelves.
Great movie.
Now the cape. I've always liked the cape. It is a fully articulated part of the figure and facilitates loads of dynamic poses.
My fave though had always been the 'wing Span,.

Really great work! This film still holds up really well today. Probably my favourite incarnation of Batman outside the comics, and the figure is killer.
