If only the second (or first) sculpt would fit on the MMS117 I'd be set.
I'm interested to find that out too actually. I'd like to replace the NECA head on my old CREGcustoms BD T-800. I'm hoping it can work then I'll have a pretty accurate full BD T-800 right there.
Not exactly the same thing but I can take 50 pictures and end up deleting all but 3.
I ordered the first day too. It will be interesting to see how they charge/ship. They say they do it in order of when you placed the order, from the earliest to latest, but that's bull****.
I googled some pics and I found these that were posted here. I wonder if at one point it had movable endo eye or if these are just made a couple copies of the proto head, but why would the endo eye be in different positions?

In the meantime, I'd like to know Rorywan's opinion on the quality of HT's sculpts lately. When the DX10 was released, we started seeing softer sculpts and you mentioned that it looked like a lower quality plastic was being used. How do the recent sculpts compare in your opinion? Lately, the only figure I got with a full human head sculpt was the 1/4 Batman. How does it compare?

I got **** thrown at me left right and centre for going on (and on) about the "soft" sculpt issue. The change in HT quality was a figment of my imagination, nothing more. I seem to get in trouble a lot for speaking my mind (probably all my own fault) but I'm turning a new leaf boys. No more slagging Hot Toys or giving my opinion about ANYTHING.

I'm not serious guys. I just got out my tiny violin for ****s and giggles. I'm a born trouble maker. Can't help myself. But I have been trying (and mostly failing) to stay out of the mass eruptions of toy emotion that happen on these boards.

To me it's mostly irritating because most of the time people complain about the most miniscule little things that it comes off as *****ing just to do it. I think sometimes people have legitimate gripes but a lot of it gets blown was out of proportion.
Well, I'll add my two cents. The BW sculpt seems to still have the darker skin tone that I see on my DX10 and Gordon, but it doesn't seem to look as shiny as the DX10 and 12 looked in photos. So it looks to me like there might have been progress in the quality department? My eyes aren't as good at spotting that kind of stuff though, so I was looking for Rory's thoughts. Just wondering if the DX13 could come out looking better on that front.

Anyway, the last HT I bought was the DX11, before that DX12, and I can speak for the Wayne that its good. Just like the previous "soft" looking sculpts. A big difference from the DX10. But the DX12 was months ago so some input about some of their latest stuff would be good.
