Still hard to believe we are finally getting this figure. Too bad we have to wait so long :impatient:..............:gah:

I'm still not getting tired of those pics on the first page. I know we've mentioned the innaccuracy and artistic license of the battle damage but apart from that....just an unbelievably, painfully good figure.

Yup. Tell me about it. This item is all we ever talked about, and dating back to when I first joined this site. Amazing.

Last time I was this excited for specs/pics was probably the '89 Keaton Batman, so it's been a while.

Just like I did with '89 Batman, I have this tendency to go back to the pics and just scan them and look it over. I'm still in awe over that morphing T-1000. I never thought they'd include something like that.

Well, they throw something like this in to help justify the high price. Like someone here said before, I wish they had a set price for each item (vehicles, MMS, DX) and not just make up a new one with each release.

I love this look with the machine gun. Though without a 1:6 scale Liquid Nitrogen Tanker Truck for him to kneel on while blasting through the windshield, I can't see a point in displaying it. Also I don't think his knee was damaged at that point, shortly after yes, when he jumps off the truck as it slides into the steel mill.

Yes, his knee gets broken when he leaps from the tanker, similar to T1, he can't walk as well after that.

It has been a long wait to see such figure realized, for some of us, as far back as Sideshow's T2 figures. I remember when MMS117 debuted, I was impressed an glad to see HT do T2, but with that release and every figure that came after as an upgrade to Sideshow's offerings, I grew dissappointed. After Marcus Wright and T2 won the poll for next Terminator, my hope was that HT would fill the gaps Sideshow left first with BD T-800. I just love the T2 BD look, it's my most favorite T-800 look in all the movies, anytime there's a figure line, I hope this look will be done. Thankfull NECA did it faithfully where McFarlane took too many liberties, and now HT and EB are taking it on and in the format I've wantes to see it done in most.

It really is one of those "finish my collection off" pieces isn't it? After this and EB's what else is there to get? Me, I have the Sideshow bust, Sideshow PF, 2 Sideshow Endo skulls, EB's T-800, 2 MMS117's, Sarah Connor and 3 T-1000's. Consider me complete :lol

I think the companies have held off from this release for as long as they could, they want us to stay into collecting and this is the grail most of us are waiting for

I love the inclusion of the assault rifle because it pays tribute to possibly the most exhilirating moment of the film, especially if you remember seeing it with a sold out crowd in the theater on opening weekend. The audience went NUTS and back in the day it was the equivalent of this year's Hulk smashing Loki sequence.

I don't see why you'd need a tanker or pickup truck to complete the display. It's not like people passed on DX10 because they didn't have a 1/6 scale Cyberdine building to pose him in. ;)

Alas I was too young to see T2 in the cinema, only 9 I think. Its a funny thing that of my favourite movie franchise the only one I've seen on the big screen is the very worst one (IMO) - T3.

My most favorite movies all came out before I could see them on the big screen, T1 & T2, Rambo 1-3, Jaws, Godzilla, Rocky 1-5, original versions of Star Wars 1-6, Batman 1989. I would love a chance to see those on the big screen, even though they were SE, I at least got to see Star Wars in 97.

Wow, in this case it is so good to be 36 years old then:))

I was too young to see the first one in theaters. I saw that on VHS. All the sequels I have seen in theaters. What an experience it was seeing T2 in the theater. It was in Brooklyn NY and the place was sold out!! The whole crowd was into it. Good times. :)

Just about caught up with this thread. :lol

Still can't get over this figure. It's beautiful, and the accessories are the best I've ever seen. I don't think there's anything ill leave in the box on this one (and there's always one or two things with every release) My only minor nitpick would be the damage on both sculpts, not too accurate. The full BD puts me in mind of the sideshow 1:1 bust actually. But at the same time I love both sculpts.

I think my plan is to have him with the semi bd head and full arm and have the enterbay covering the full bd look.

That, alongside the DX10 (which this figure has made me more excited for) and my clean enterbay Arnie will be my dream setup from what to me is the best movie character and film ever :lecture

Have you been able to catch it theatrically since its first release?

I feel like this figure is a nostalgic shrine to the defining cinematic sci-fi achievement of the 1990's (sorry Phantom Menace and Matrix.)

Thankfully the DX Luke taught me that I absolutely have no reason to fork over the $30 deposit until it ships though.

I don't see how anyone can think that this....

Isn't an improvement from this...

(those are not my pics btw)

I agree. The MMS always seemed a bit "characterized" for my tastes. The head looks older but just not an older Arnold.

My cousin was just about ready to pull the trigger on the DX10. He was just waiting for Paypal funds to clear his bank, then BAM this DX13 shows up. Cousin is now getting the DX13 instead.

Im sure there are other issues likely the same. I think HT kinda shot themselves in the foot on some early sales for the DX10 because of this. Im sure the DX10 will still sell out because it seems theres still a lot of people that like or prefer the clean look. And its cheaper.

I'm one of those people who was ready to slap my money down on the DX10 but now will hold for the DX13.

It does seem counter intuitive to announce this now while shipping the DX10. I mean, the 13 comes out in June, couldn't HT have waited until January to announce this and guarantee more 10 sales? They lost mine, I'm sure they've lost many.

Of course, I'm hoping this drives the price even lower over the next few months and I can actually get the DX10 for maybe even less.

Then again, this could also mean -- the DX10 is going to be limited.

I'll be honest, I love this, and I am very tempted to make it my first Terminator figure. However, I'm not giving in; not yet, anyway. That's because I can't differentiate whether I actually love this thing as much as I think I do, or whether I'm just buying into the hype. Therefore, I'm going to wait a few months for the dust to settle, and see if the shine is all gone. If it's not, then I'll know that this thing truly is as awesome as I think it is now. At this point, though, I'm extremely impressed by this offering.

:lecture:goodpost::exactly:

I feel the same way. I'm probably going to wait for my reward points from all my currently preordered Nolan batman figs to kick in before ordering. Help offset the high cost.

I am trying to resist the urge to just order on impulse. But man do I love this figure right now.

I remember paying to see Hot Shots in the theatre then sneaking in to see T2. I was only 12 at the time and they wouldn't let us in to an R rated movie. Still one of my best memories. I still remember being in awe watching it and my dad being jealous that I saw it before him.

I was 8 when T2 came out, I spent years watching an edited for TV copy. I've only see. T3 and T4 in theaters.
