I am wondering when will Hot Toys start to use quality materials. I am collecting for years now but with a few exceptions way too many of their product deteriorate over the years.
There's no leather on the DX13 and the only part you should worry about cracking is the belt.
Well you could use a faux leather conditioner, which would delay the aging.
Yup, at least it makes the pleather feel more flexible. Have only used it on two figures, MMS117 and DX13. One thing though, I accidently rubbed a bit too harsh at one place on the pants and some of the paint wore off so be careful. I believe the pleather is pretty good on the figures and soaking them in a conditioner might not be so neccessary.Does that actually help?
Not sure it means anything but JC Hong has posted twice about the T1 T-800 from 5 years ago this week. I of course jabbed at him about the 1/4 teaser and that this year is the 35th anniversary.
We might see HT do a Arnold T-800 from Terminator 6, but I doubt we'll see any terminator figures beyond that, such a shame too as there's so much potential. I'd even love figures from Terminator 3. The final battle Arnold and TX would look awesome on display.
Yes, if you can find that elbow joint on it's own you should be fine. Don't know how common they are, however.
Damn, I'd forgotten about that for some reason. As it happens, when he looked like that it was some of the most embarrassing stuff in the franchise, but it would make a fantastic action figure from both NECA and Hot Toys. I would not be able to pass on it.
What was embarrassing about that scene? That might of been the best scene in the whole movie besides the crane chase.
well, he was stating obvious facts throughout the whole movie, not just that time.Silly ''you are Terminated!'' line said by one emotionless machine
to another emotionless machine.
Crashing the helicopter right into the facility and only by sheer luck trapping the TX and managing not to accidentally kill John Connor and Kate Brewster.
'I'm back', practically breaking the fourth wall as he says the line.
Somehow being able to hold the massive door up with one arm without just being crushed like he was in the compressor in T1.
Suddenly being able to break the TX's endoskeleton with one hand - why couldn't he do that earlier?

i agree with all the rest of your post
i couldn't believe Winston designed it when i saw that untalented piece of crap.Well, despite all of T3's shortcomings, I enjoyed it and like the TX design.
