Even if it goes up for preorder within the next month, I doubt we'll get this figure within a year. Maybe end of 2015.

Well ya never know with Hot Toys they put 66 Robin/Robin up for pre-order in Sept 2013 and had them in hand in April of 2014... So it's def possible...

Especially because it's not necessarily an entirely new figure. The hold up could be the accessories which we didn't see. Could include an unmasked Keaton head that they still may need approval for.

if it doesn't come with a keaton sculpt i'll consider buying one of the Ace Toyz HS, is the best one i've seen so far and is not that expensive.

It's been said before but that's just about at HT level. The issue I'm seeing is that the eyes aren't light enough. If they're blue, they're a very dark shade.

He used to have very distinctive eyebrows ...like Nicholson. He was famous for his eyebrows...it was his thing.




Not anymore though...



He still got the Keaton lips/mouth

Those brows are part of what made the cowl work so well. Whether they intended to or not, masks on both suits mirrored the natural arch of his eyebrows so it worked as a living expression the whole time he was onscreen.

It's one of those moments where HT actually improves at this scale over the real thing. All of their cowls look like they could take a bullet to the temple.
