Wanted to share this with everyone, DX06 hands and DX15 hands. Early on, I thought they just updated the DX06 hands, but they’re all new sculpts, and between both releases, there are only 1 left and 3 right hands that are the same pose, and the each release has some unique ones. I know many feel the DX06 size is an issue, but overall I feel those hands include some very Jack Sparrow style gestures that DX15 doesn’t include, definitely glad I got the DX06 hands.

Agreed, I received mine as well and $4 shipping for a double boxed DX beats SS’s $22+ reward points.

So are people selling their DX06 or keeping both? I still haven’t pulled the trigger. As I hate double dipping but if there ever was one too DD it’s this one. It’s $350 Can folks that’s not chump change

I sold my dx06 and kept the dx15. Sad to see the 06 go but the 15 really is an upgrade in most areas. The headsculpt is just so lifelike. I preferred the wheel but even when I had the 06 for years, the wheel stayed in the box so I figured I would not miss it. I also had the old AWE Jack's hat for the dx15 so all's good.

Keep both if you can afford to. If not get the dx15! Well worth it.

I’ve had both, and if you don’t need to sell 06 to get 15, keep it, even though all the parts got upgraded, since you get two faces with 15, it saves leaving the spare face in storage, and the differences in the outfits isn’t enough where the 15 face won’t look fine on the 06 figure.

Yeah, it's amazing the accolades that face got for so long. I never really thought it captured Depp too much. It's clear now of course. But as a whole, yes, it was and is a fantastic figure. Still one of the greats, though knocked down a peg 5 years later by this new version.

Those pics really highlight how worn 15 looks and really show how I was saying 06 looks very pristine like he just bought his outfit.

I think the sculpts capture Depp’s likeness, but there’s a quality to them that doesn’t give a realism like 15, the two together look like Depp visiting his statue at a wax museum.

Even though it’s accurate to DMTNT, I prefer the 06 bandana with the classic pattern.

What classic pattern? The OST bandanna is different from COTBP and the OG trilogy...at least as far as what's visible. OG bandanna had some horizontal black lines.

I don’t think DX06 is exact to any movie’s pattern, but the pattern was more prominent in 1-4, then in 5 the red got very dark and you can hardly see a pattern even in the movie.

I'm talking about the lines with the inside squares/rectangles. That was missing in OST.

As far as the color, I hated it in AWE. It looked almost pink instead of red.

To get the sash to look like that do you have to take everything including the belts off?

Here's mine atm the gravel is a temp thing until I get my Dio.... need to find a more permeant light rather than swapping the batteries every few days.
