Oh I'm getting the classic Royal Guard for sure. Honestly it has taken quite a while for that since it was first shown at Star Wars Celebration.

Yes, they must be getting that Emperor sculpt right before releasing close together perhaps. Well I hope that's what it is !

I really hope so, I mean if you look at Royal Guard figures, be it the black series or Bandai's Movie Realization, they sold fairly well.

Yeah I think most people should be down for one or two of these. They are pretty iconic, and not too many 1/6 versions as I understand it.

November is next week and these guys have not been released. I honestly thought they would come out before the movie being they are helmeted characters.

That we know of, honestly we have no clue what happens within the scenes they're in.

I'm considering one and then a Royal Guard to pair with. If it were years ago I'd probably try for 2 of each and a Smoke and Palpatine to go with them but I'm quickly running out of display room.

Yep, my plan is Emperor, Vader to his right and one Red imperial guard on the left. That and a few troopers will round out my OT Empire display.

Nice idea Hoody. My plan is similar, but replace a red guard with Tarkin, and a few Troopers with Jedi Luke lol.

When I see ZackG's recent setup (in Star Wars pics thread) I think that blood red gives so much contrast to the typical black and white empire colourings.

Yeah no guard lol. I'm having a lean collection and no room (or money) to buy side characters or troops. Vader, Tarkin, and Emperor will be the OT display. Then I'll either put Luke with them, or pose him with Anakin for the father-son combo. I've thought about it for a while, and I'm sticking to my guns. I can't go falling down the rabbit hole of this hobby.

To me, those three were the architects of the entire saga anyways. Everyone else were just actors playing a part.

In the TV teaser during the World Series last night they had a wide shot of the throne room and it looked like there were 9 of these guys standing around...

Hard to see a few of them are behind things and difficult to make out what all of the helmets and weapons are.

Pretty sure they will all have unique helmets (and weapons) to varying degrees. Never miss a new toy opportunity.

Their weapons will likely harken to their Knights of Ren weapons.
