It shouldn't reach the heights of a Stormtrooper disguise Luke Skywalker or a Darkside Anakin Skywalker but all Star Wars OT tend to go up significantly when they are sold out.

Yes, especially if anything like a Bespin Han or new Bespin Leia figure come out. Even though this is a bargain bin figure right now I think it’ll take an upturn once gone just like the bargain bin Jyn in Imperial Disguise did.

This is why I still think a Skiff Guard or General Lando is still on the cards.
Seriously,who would knock back those figures if revealed?
Skiff Guard is my most wanted due to the iconic intense action scene at the Sarlacc and also he was 1 of my fav Kenner figures as a kid due to the disguise factor.
Headsculpt is great and would only need minimal tweak if anything for his ROTJ look.

If they do release a Bespin Han or Bespin escape Leia,prices for this guy will shoot up.

I don’t think anyone one really hates the figure. It’s fine. A lot of great figures have gone on deep discount at Sideshow within the past several months.

They just overproduced the figures they have now, oversaturated the market, demand is low, along with various outside factors.

Great deals for people who don’t have some of these yet though.

How do they get to $176.25? That quarter is really important? They couldn't just do $175?

Even at $175, its a pass for me. I've seen him sell for less on ebay and still couldn't bite. Figure is just too simple for the price, and has a janky cape.

At $130, I'd start to think about it.

He's a figure without too many display options. It's easily understandable to see low interest for him. His only real mate is Bespin Leia. Took too long to solicite and offer a PO for Bespin Luke and still a long wait for him to release. Plus they never gave us a Bespin Han or Chewie...

And Lando needs his right hand man, No Lobot no deal.

As mentioned before, it would have been great if HT had released a Lobot to accompany him. I've been patiently waiting for a "Bespin Escape" Leia but no luck yet...

I ordered a second lando in hopes of the eventual bespin escape leia and Chewbacca that will probably never get made.

Nope. Cape is partly to blame. I also don't have Wicket.

After ANH, I really tried to control my urges to just a few extras from the other movies -- like Snowspeeder Luke. I've skipped most of the alternate outfits for the main heroes as well (thankfully with HT not making Bespin Han it became a lot easier). Once you skip purchasing a few major characters it becomes a lot easier to hold back on others. Vader and Fett (movie only versions) seem to be my only weakness.

Doubt it. Not right away anyways. With the bargain bin prices, I'm sure there are people buying some to sell in the future so the supply isn't really going down much.

I respect and applaud your self-control with figure purchases. To be honest, I've passed on several supposed "must-haves", as well. No Wicket, No Snowspeeder Luke and no Scout Trooper on Speederbike, as of yet, for example. Excellent point regarding skipping a major character and then not wanting (or feeling the need) to obtain a secondary or complimentary figure.

As for the ESB Lando figure, it was a long wanted figure for me and seeing the current price drops, it very well may be the only version for quite some time.

By the way, this discussion got me thinking about my own collecting habits and how I tend to acquire and display the figures in related groups rather than as a single figure display. For example, when thinking of the Emperor, I immediately thought of flanking him with two Royal Guards or with Vader and Jedi Luke. Got Krennic and two Death Troopers were must-haves. That will definitely grow the collection rather quickly and expensively.

And yes, buying expensive figures as accessories is where most people get deep into a massive collection. I have the Emperor and one Red Guard (sacrilege, I know) and I have Krennic with just one Death Trooper. It's that flanking stuff that will get you in trouble.

I look at it as an open opportunity -- like if they ever make a new Emperor movie and he's flanked with new Guards, I have an available space for one.

Respect the willpower. I was a compulsive 3.75” army builder and that carried over to 1/6.

I try to keep things trooper focused so they’re more at the center rather than accessories/background as some have them, but you’re right that it does get you into a lot of trouble real fast.

Lando even fits into an OG Star Wars lineup imo. He's classic OG Star Wars.
