Reminds me of

:lol

I removed the fern from that display....you guys ruined it for me :( I think I need to trim away from of the fern and get something to hold the bottom down so its not so close to him.

White tac stuff, in the picture its more obvious then when I look I may try to trim it down more.

I was thinking of getting some wall putty. Stuff you use to hold up posters and what-not on the wall. Put it right on his shoulder, considering I cant really attach the plastic pole to hold him up. I dislike the way it looks with the pole anyway.

I was also thinking of hanging him from the top of the detolf through the hole with something like really fine fishing line(invisible string, like they use in magic tricks). If it was nearly invisible it may look like he is actually flying, which would be awesome.

Good idea, that hadn't come to my mind but I think I'll try it once I have it. :)

After messing around with Falconer for a while, I've discovered that his left boot is extremely loose. The slightest movement causes the entire foot to rotate left or right. So dynamic poses are a no-no. :gah:

I figured removing the boot and putting some superglue on the balljoint would help solve the issue, but I figured I would ask you guys before ____ing around with my $200 purchase. :lol

Awesome! Please take pics when you try it. If I happen to do that to mine Ill make sure to post.

If I'm able to do it I'll surely take pictures and post here, I really liked the idea and I actually have a Detolf and the Predator figures are on the top level. The Falconer will be here hopefully next week but I have to get the string as I only have metal and cloth strings, but I think my cousin may have clear strings for fishing, I know he had before.

Ok, so obviously this isn't a new idea by now, but here's my completed unmasked Falconer. Turned out OK, may lighten up the eyes in the future, turned out really dark. Also I will probably paint the extra set of open mandibles I have to match him. I just want to say for the record that I just did this to see if I could, wasn't really upset about him not having a face. Just thought it would be a fun project to try to do. That's it for now, I've exhausted my catalog of custom jobs, hope you guys dig it!

i wish the thing actually folded up so you can attach it to his shoulder or wrist , instead a useless piece of plastic on an OBVIOUS clear rod hovering above :slap
Yeah, I never did like that solution. The falcon is hovering above and behind Falconer...kind of weak really.

They should have used that space on his left shoulder armor to create a space for the falcon to dock.

I'm sure someone can give a more definitive answer, but I think the falcon was created late in the Falconer's development process.
It was created in response to the negative feedback HT was getting when their marketing pictures of the Falconer did not show the falcon.

That looks awesome!! If I could do half of that quality painting I'd be really happy. When I receive my Falconer I intend to remove the mask and paint the face (and will have to get the mandibles and mouth pieces), but I doubt my painting will look even a third of that awesomeness... but I want to try my best.

ObsidianStag,
That turned out great.
I actually prefer the eyes dark and I'll bet it looks better in person.

I currently have Berserker posed without his biomask, but once Falconer arrives, I may display them both masked.

Thanks a million for the kind words, makes it worth doing! I agree on the QC problems, and last minute sort of cobbling together of Falconer. Pretty sure the falcon WAS an afterthought, although a nice one for sure. We all may just wind up finding our own, and better, ways to display the falcon! I still like him though, and Tracker looks like one bad mother. Can't wait.
