I will meet you in person and eat your children. Supposedly eating TV's btw, just a FYI, it's the latest theory.

STRONGEST DER Izzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............. :panic:

I wish I had some children to give you, as I hear they can be a thorn in one's side at times:wink1:

I just got my Falconer body today from HK. Anyone know if the arms on these new Preds are swapable? I'm looking to swap the Falconer armored forearm with a Beserker one. I figure if the T-800s are swapable there, these might be too.

Yes you can... you can pop & switch the elbows out .... or the shoulders out too for that matter....

I bought a Falconer for $200 which was MISB but I've had the misfortune of getting a partially defective one.

1. There was a black dot on the mask which was pretty big. Looked like a black pen marker dot. Couldn't be removed though.

2. The leather strap attached to the leather skirt came off and I superglued it back

3. The LED socket didn't fit well. I pressed it in as hard as I could and occasionally it would turn on but then when I tried again and again it didn't work anymore so the LED is officially down.

The seller gave me a $35 refund for it. Is it enough to cover these defects or should I just send it back for a full refund?

The helmet is the one I think is the most 'defective' as my Falconer had similar issues wit the leg straps, battery pack and the armour doesn't sit right. I put that down to luck of the draw and it all being plastic.

Is the spot on the helmet worth $35 to you?

Not unless I stare really hard at it. I could just imagine it to be some battle scar of sorts. But if you were me, would you sit right by it? I mean is $35 a good refund for the listed defects and those pictures?

I don't consider the other things you mentioned as actual defects. Least not the kind that warrants a refund in my personal opinion.

The mark on the helmet is the real defect here I think. That would bug the hell outta me personally but maybe make the most out of it and think of it as sculpted damage.
Unless you know someone who could touch it up for you? a Games Workshop nerd for instance.

It's not the sellers fault this. It's Hot Toys. You could send them the pic and see what they say.

Looks like the rub could be rubbed out :lol. I have you tried rubbing it down with a soft cloth?

They'd probably want me to send it back or something. I am mostly reluctant to send it back since I waited 2 weeks for this thing to arrive. I live in the UK as well so if I were to ship it back it would be pretty expensive I believe. I was just wondering overall if it was worth it to send it back and get a full refund of $200 to repurchase another one or just sit with the defects (primarily the black mark and the LED not functioning) and get a partial $35 refund instead. Which was why I wanted to see what you all thought of it and what you guys would do if you were in my position personally.

Yes I tried it with the kind of cloth you used to clean glasses. It really seemed like a manufacturing kind since I tried scraping it with my nails even but it wouldn't budge.

If it were me, I would take the $35 refund and wait for Toyanxiety to part out the Falconer and just grab another head to replace it with but that's just me.

It's easier to get a part than just going through the whole mess of re-shipping a whole figure and waiting on a refund to clear the paypal account or my bank account.

It's a hassle you shouldn't have to pay money for in the first place but I go more for convenientcy than losing out on money. You win some you lose some IMO. Although here you are getting a partial refund which you can use to purchase a extra part to make it right or corrected for the figure.

Well my Dutch leg broke after a few months and HT sent me new leg joint.
I say take a pic and send it to them. All they can do is say no.
It's a clear case of that figure should not have made it to boxing stage because of that mark.

Other than getting a new paint job, do what Skiman says.

The head would come with new wiring too. Sounds good! Toyanxiety is from ebay? Your points on reshipping is exactly how I feel.

It's a shop here in the U.S. located in Arizona I believe.

Follow their threads here and subscribed to thread therefore you know whenever they are breaking down a figure, they usually break down in bulk and around 7:00 p.m. Central time zone most of the times, it varies but you have to keep an eye out otherwise the parts just get sold out very quickly.
