They charged me $20.00 to ship UPS from Canada and thats not bad at all.

not too bad, i'm just south of you so i'm guessing mine would be about the same.

It can vary slightly, but rounded up or down you're looking at about $20 US. Thanks for the heads up DD, picked up Rocky for the ol' collection.

My Rocky is due to arrive tomorrow, can't wait to check out the Italian Stallion, he looks so nice from the pictures, I couldn't resist getting him anymore, and I'm sure I'll be happy with my choice, and thanks again dave for posting that Toys2 had it again, actually, it's still in stock if anyone's trying to find one still. I'm not sure if anyone else would agree with me, but I'd like to see a Rocky Balboa version, I know he was old and not so in shape, but they could use the body again for Rambo 4, and to me, Rocky in RB stood out more than ever as a symbol for rising above what you are, even more than the underdog going the distance in Rocky, and I'd love to have a figure of that to enjoy and serve as a reminder.

I hope they do an original Rocky in his black trunks soon. That way I can put him up against Apollo which, IMHO, is the most iconic matchup for the entire Rocky saga.

You're partly right, only I think you're referring to the original fight, which would fit with the clothing of HT Apollo figure, but that would be Rocky in his white shorts with red stripes, the black was Rocky II. Rocky 2 figure would be great as a solo piece with battle damage on his face for "Yo Adrian, I did it!"

Did Rocky wear the white shorts in his first fight with Apollo? Dang, I'm gonna have to watch the movie again I guess.:D
And, yes, a battle damaged Rocky would ROCK!:rock

Rocky arrived this morning, though he's here with me at work so I can't full enjoy him, but I broke him out for a look over on my lunch break. Wow, he's just an awesome figure, a deffinate must have for Rocky fans, so if anyone is on the fence about it, better snag one up while they're around. It also seems that Hot Toys is really getting the Stallone likeness down with each new HS they create, from Rambo 2 to First Blood to Rocky and now the upcoming Rambo 3 figure looks like they've got it perfect, so I think it's safe to count on any Stallone based figures from them in the future being fantastic and spot on to his look. The paint apps look very nice as well, the eyes are better than the Rambos and I like the new muscular body they're using for it, very nicely done figure. Haven't been able to give the accessories a thorough look over, but looks like they put good work into the championship belt.

Rocky is definitely a work of art from HT. The accessories are great too. I think I had more fun poseing my Rocky and Clubber figures than any others I have.

Did you get Clubber as well or just Rocky MaulFan?

Just Rocko, there's just so many things I want coming this year, and so many other tentative financial obligations outside of collecting that I have to deal with as well, so passing on Clubber, I want Apollo and Drago, but they too just don't fit into the budget right now, Rocky was pushing my luck a little, but I grew up watching Rocky and love the movies, and even though some would say Rocky 1 or 2 are the more iconic visions of him, my personal iconic Rocky is the USA shorts, it was fitting that a man who became a symbol of hope for America put on shorts bearing our flag. I can't wait to go home and photograph him. I find it odd too that they released him with Clubber since Rocky is made around Rocky 4 appearance, having the flag included, but regardless. I deffinately hope this isn't the only Rocky himself in the line.

Just got my First Blood Rambo today and I really like it. I don't know whether to pose him with the gun or with Trautman wearing his coat like in the final scene. I need to get a Halo Jumper Rambo but I think I will hold off for now because the Street Version Clubber is just around the corner.

is he worth the money paid Maul?

That all depends really, if your interest is more of the "that's a pretty unique, cool looking figure" then I'd say he'd come off a bit overpriced. If you're more the "I've loved Rocky for a long time and have always wanted cool Rocky collectibles" than I'd say he's well worth the price, this as nice a quality figure as you're going to get of Rocko, even though it's a somewhat generic muscle body, the proportions really work well on him, the leg and upper body rubber match well, the head paint as always with HT, matches perfectly to the rubber elements, and the head sculpt is fantastic. My only issue is the way the interchangeable hands work, it's tough getting the pins in, and I already snapped one off just doing a simple adjustment, didn't think I was doing anything risky, but the good news is that the glove fits snug on the muscle body so unless you took it off, you wouldn't know it got broken, and I might be able to do something to fix it. And as I said before, the championship belt is just stunning, lots of quality put in there.

I'd love to see Hot Toys do Stallone as Marion Cobretti from Cobra. Thought about making a custom with the Rocky sculpt but nobody has ever made Cobretti's Jatimatic machinegun with laser sight in 1:6 scale.

I'd love to have a Cobra figure.

Maybe HT could be the first company to offer a 1/6th 1950 Mercury for him.

And then give us Mad Max and his Interceptor :chew

That's a nice pick up. I think the thing that impressed me most about FB Rambo was how well the clothes fit and looked.
He got alot of flack about the way they sculpted his mouth but I like it.

The FB Rambo jeans are pretty nice. Prolly the best mass produced ones.

I'm telling ya, SS heads on HT Bodies/clothes/accessories would be untouchable.
