A collectibles store i frequent has this up for preorder at 156 bucks, for HT these days that's actually pretty cheap, i wonder if this will be the trend for the rest of the line. Well, a man can dream can't he?

Either way, the price has made this that much more appealing to me, might pick it up now.

Definite purchase.

At first I was thinking "minimal accessories and not nearly as possible as Marvel/DC properties, this shouldn't fetch that much" but then also thought "well they might have to charge a pretty penny to make up for the fact these aren't as in demand as Marvel/DC stuff."

I see no less than $165 no more than $180.

But I love it and it's going on my shelf.

I'm curious why SSC has been taking longer when it comes to putting up the HT pre-orders.

I'm curious why SSC has been taking longer when it comes to putting up the HT pre-orders.

I would not be surprised if HT ends up parting ways with SSC where HT set ups their own distribution/fulfillment outlet in the US or end up making a deal with another distributor who'll end up having HT keep more $ on their end while supposedly maintaining the distribution channels & capabilities on par (or close enough) with SSC while going through growing pains.

Either that or SSC ends up owning HT outright and HT becomes a brand name within SSC unless that already happened are we're not aware or oblivious to it.

Never going to happen. SSC has all of the channels that HT will need. Building that from scratch is going to be a PITA.

Don't bother, I've owned this set ever since it first came out and even back then it was a piece of crap. It won't nearly match Hot Toys quality.

Would be funny to see nu Robocop vs. capeless Nolan Batman vs. movie Snake Eyes. Folks would get confused who was who.

New Robocop ?

Buy the head and stick it on a Nolan TDK bat suit. Instant Robocop 2013. Of course that would be stupid because then you'd have a figure based on Robocop 2013.

Seems to be a lot of people not liking this figure so wondering if that would drive up the cost of a SSC SE - I've always wanted to buy one but afraid the HT one will either drive the value up or down. Hmmm...

I think this beats Sideshows hands down, really glad I waited... but dont get me wrong ss is cool and if i had bought it already i'd be buying this as well, probably sell timber to help with the purchase for this
