The Sandcrawler Gonk is the most desired, but least interesting. I like them all..damn...choices.

Yeah but even the "busier" looking Gonks are still just goofy boxes on two legs. Might as well get the one that made the biggest impression on screen. That's my thought anyway.

Yes, excellent argument, but then when you're coughing up $200 for a box on two legs I don't mind the idea of it being highly detailed and fitting for an environment suited for all figures, such as Mos Eisley. Only C3-PO and R2 were present with Sandcrawler Gonk. With a Mos Isley Gonk you can pose with Luke, Ben, Han and Chewy as well.

There was no "Kenner Gonk" in the movie. The toy was supposed to represent the Sandcrawler droid.

I don't think Kenner knew what they were trying to emulate, it has bits of all 3 Gonk droids in their version, it seems.

i know that's the point. I want the one I remember not the one who was barely in the movie and we have to find single screen shots to know what it looked like.There was no "Kenner Gonk" in the movie. The toy was supposed to represent the Sandcrawler droid.

Well if you only want the one you remember than just get the Jumbo Gentle Giant figure pictured above. Because no Gonk from the actual movies will give you what you're looking for then.
