Thanks, everyone, for the pictures of the baby Groots! The exclusive one isn't quite as nice as the regular one, but I'm going to have a little fun with them in my display setup.

GD- did you try using the extra stand connector to attach Rocket's stand (or at least the pole) to Groot's? That's the most secure way to display Rocket over Groot's shoulder.

Just the 3-5 week e-mail and that was it.

Do you think Hot Toys will make a Groot 2.0?
Maybe with a switch out arm shield or branch spikes on his shoulders?

A few pages back somebody mentioned a SSC rep told them they are arriving in batches. Seems like flex first then the rest of us. I am personally ok waiting, can't afford it til Monday anyway!

As for a 2.0, I doubt it as this figure is a pretty well received release already, but Guardians 2 isn't far away so maybe then.

Received mine today, what a awesome set!! I look at these guys with all of my Ironman figures and boy I have bought too much ironman, I need to BRANCH out a little .

Lol my ex getting shipped to China, my figures incoming. Fair trade!!!!

I opened these guys when I got in and so so pleased with them. This set and Star Lord are the reason I got into HTs, they really are stunning.
Sadly, Groot is still in his box because there is no room for him in my detolf bit I have my eye on a new cabinet big enough for my whole collection and pre orders! Pbotos soon

Yea they never showed the exclusive baby groot so even i assumed it was just a stick too. No worries!

This is the one I thought we would get too. Not the pre dancing Groot that it looks like it comes with. Oh well.

Quick question is Rocket's clothes fabric or is it sculpted onto him?

It's a combination of fabric (the orange bits) and plastic (most everything else), but it might not be easily removable.

I think there were three different versions at the end- the plain stick, the animated baby stick when Rocket's in the ship, and the dancing one at the end. Since the set came with the third, I was also expecting the EX to be one of the first two. It's still small enough that I won't be too bothered.

Has anyone checked to see if the baby roots come out of the pots? Feel like the first pics of the non-dancing version had no pot.
