I've been told that the distribution to Europe has been screwed up, and many European dealers have been sent less stock than they had pre-ordered. I've lost my Rocket and Groot order because of this, although I'm getting a full refund from my dealer. Hopefully that's not the case for everyone though, and most orders are fulfilled.

Hmmm, I also saw a restock planned for some European retailers at the end of August. Hopefully I can still receive mine at the end of the month.

So this is the first time this has happened to me with a Hot Toys product, but the peg for the gun holding hand on Rocket broke. Am I able to get a replacement? To I contact Hot Toys or my vendor (in this case, BBTS)? That little hand is like the most important one...

Got my EX set on Saturday. Loved the movie so this set was a no brainer. Lucked out with SS and USPS shipping in just the shipping container, the shipper did its job and no damage to the Art Box (I always request Pack Out) and SS didn't offer this option this time for whatever reason. (well shipping costs aside) Groot is just a beautifully executed figure. The engineering on the waist (much like the recent Die-cast IM) was great for getting deeper stances in the hip region. I like how HT solved the R&D on the joints and face plates. Paint apps stunning in person. I would have liked Groot to be slightly larger, but WTH he looks killer in the line up with the others. Rocket, looks great in hand as well, I would have liked an alternate open mouth sculpt but he looks great when you futz and get him on Groot's back or arm. His whiskers were perfectly strait and positioned on mine as well--I got lucky. My cat sheds her whiskers frequently and I have a collection of them to use to replace Rockets if some fall out. This set has found its way into my 9 year old daughter's room. She loved the movie and shares my enthusiasm of these figures.

I give this release a solid 8/10
