Is that head sculpt really not usable on the older star lord figures?

you need to switch the body of the Vol1 / Vol2 / Infinity War versions, to use this head sculpt as it is one piece with a neck attached. Looks awesome though!

Got Star Lord today. This has to be the best version in hand. Though lack of accessories it would have been nice if he wore the helmet in film or had accurate red gloves to complete the look. Now I regret not getting Rocket with Cosmo and Groot and Nebula. Who knows if HT will even release Drax and Mantis or Gamora from V3.

Big miss not making a barebones Mantis with the blue suit and a HUGE miss not releasing Draz where they wouldn't have to bother with the body aesthetics and this might be just me but I think Gamora's Vol.3 look is her best to date

Those earbuds really don't like staying in. Hot Toys should've used a magnet system for them. Beyond that, though, it's a great figure; the head sculpt especially is terrific.

I wonder if we'll ever get the full team like they originally advertised. I was hoping they were just waiting until the Holiday Special Mantis shipped but that was months ago and still nothing. Seems like it'd be easy money for them with vol. 3 Mantis -- they already have the head sculpt and most of the uniform via vol.3 Nebula. Drax would require more work, since they'd likely need a new head sculpt (the vol.1 one is ancient by now) and would (hopefully) need a bigger body and suit than what they used for Star-Lord.

May I ask How you removed the clothes from the figure? Or what body you used to head swap?

Body swap with V2 gear. I like it a lot.
