Hot Toys Han Solo Stormtrooper Disguise

Anybody that doesn't have Stormtrooper Luke going to get this one anyway? It'll bug me not having Luke, but this looks good. Despite the face not having my preferred expression. At least you can also use him as a regular Stormtrooper.

I passed on Luke but will probably pick up Han. Different head sculpt is a bonus. I like the base as well.

So is this from that deleted scene on Tatooine when Han painted 'Free Candy' on the sides of the Falcon, and all the Jawas were running about in terror crying, "Stranger Danger!" ?

Gotta say, it suddenly makes me love their previous Han sculpt a whole lot more now.

Well, you can tell they absolutely nailed Harrison Ford's likeness, since the naysayers are complaining about the expression.

I passed on Luke but will probably pick up Han. Different head sculpt is a bonus. I like the base as well.

I'm thinking I'll probably end up preordering too. I also like that the head sculpt is new, and I also don't have an ANH Stormtrooper. Though I'm interested in the Sandtrooper Sergeant when they eventually announce it.

That base does look quite nice. I would've wanted the grated base, but it probably wouldn't have matched the backdrop as much.

And I also think that from the left profile it really does look like Harrison. Not quite from the right, but I can live with it. I personally would've preferred a more stern "action" expression.

I kinda wish they'd do a set with Han and Luke to give us another chance at Luke. Even if it had to be limited like the Suicide Squad Batman.

Yes that would be a good one. Too bad HT doesn't include two head sculpts in some of their figures.

Had a mess round in photoshop. I feel like someone mentioned earlier the eyes are too far apart or the face is still too squished (which was an issue with the the last Han too).

Agreed. I think Sideshow did it better. Hope HT can fix this sculpt before final production.

Looking forward to ordering this! Can't wait to pair him up with Luke. They sure took their time releasing this one.
