I honestly thought it was an April's fools thing after seeing the sculpt. Guess not.

I passed on "egg head" Luke and I'll pass on "candy little girl" Han.

I haven't been thrilled by many Han Solo sculpts so far, official or otherwise, but I think this one is pretty cool. Glad they're giving him an expression and I hope they continue that route when they make the ESB version.

Hopefully they secretly tweak the sculpt before release like they did for Finn. (Though I still don't know whether that one was tweaked for the better or not...)

I think someone at Hot Toys has been playing too much Mass Effect Andromeda while working on this head sculpt.

Agreed. I think Trevor got the likeness and expression a whole lot closer in his original sculpt. And it's a lot less creepy to look at as well.

Seeing the SSC and HT Hans have a similar smirk, it's almost like someone at LFL is insisting that Stormtooper Han have that look.

Even Harrison Ford looks weird when he does that same smirk. It just doesn't work on a sculpt.

I remember seeing a re paint of the SSC Han and Luke sculpts. It made such a difference to them. Even more so on the Luke sculpt.

Man, that likeness is pretty bad. As expected. Glad I ordered the JNIX Empire sculpt for the inevitable HT Empire Han, because I've got no confidence they will find a way to do him justice anytime soon.

I am perhaps in the minority, but I think the sculpt is ok. I think there's something off about the paint apps, like he has a skin condition, but the sculpt is decent IMO...
