Hot Toys Holiday Special Boba Fett

So I'm assuming that this figure will only be available through Sideshow? I know that the Resistance Rey exclusive was available through other retailers like Alter-Ego. I got mine from Things From Another World retail store... when they clearanced it for $140.

Most of those (except Jyn disguise which is a bit early to tell) were before HT got the message to make fewer units. We will see how this pans out.

But being that this particular Fett is really only for the truly obsessed, even a small run will likely be around a while.

I'm honestly surprised how long the Trooper Luke took to sell out. Same with Han. I figured two main characters that can also double as Troopers would be faster sell outs. It's weird to me that Finn Trooper sold out in like two days by comparison. Some of the other Trooper variants I can see why they're still around or took time to sell.

I ordered this one. I love the color scheme, and I love Boba Fett so I do wanna get this one. If they make a wite Prototype variant (we know it is only a matter of time) I might go for it too.

I think in general, HT SW figures are not as popular as their Marvel stuff, coz the core SW collectors are not used to shelling out this kind of price for figures. Yes, they HT stuff is great in likeness and quality, but when the SW collectors are still trying to chase down all the $25 black series 6 inch for their collection, they are really less interested in starting a line of $250 figures (it's one for 10!). I also realized the Medicom MFX or SHFigure Arts are also not as popular, even they are way more superior to the Hasbro Black series, but at around triple the price.

Found out the answer to my own question. Alter Ego currently has this Boba Fett available for pre-order at their website.

I'm tempted, I must admit just because I missed the first Fett but I'm trying to keep my SW Hot Toys to Jedi, Sith, and Imperials. And Leia and Finn for some reason lol.

I like the idea of this one, but the cartoon colors are too close to Jango Fett for my taste. Still, I can see people getting it.

Huh? Jango is silver, blue, and purple. This is blue, beige, and yellow.
