In all seriousness the HS isn't for everyone but it does help if you're old enough to remember the 70's to appreciate it's particular brand of oddness.

This figure will just appeal to the nostalgic or completist.
I have feeling it will be very limited as HT understands that most fans will go for the "mainstream" versions. IMO

I really have to get this, it's pretty cool. I hope HT does a prototype Fett with the alternate McQuarrie helmets. I dig the SS one but without those helmets it's just not as cool as it should be.

Here's the shot I took of Boba at NYCC.

Awesome pic, Lu. I am definitely gonna get 'em but I just wish he had more of a cartoon look. Not the colors, I think they did very well there. No, I would have loved the armor to be more cartoony, thinner helmet, taller figure. If I remember the Holiday Special Boba was pretty tall, not as tall as Chewie but definitely taller than a normal person. If I had to venture a guess I would say he was like 6'5" if he was a real person. I know it wouldn't make sense because they wouldn't be able to re-use the molds but that would make this more of a Holiday Boba then a re-purposed ROTJ Boba to me.

Easy, the figure exists and it's of a popular character who has a few different looks so a variant is made. Just make some slight alterations and it's good to go. Put an exclusive label on it and collectors will flock to it.
