Hairdryer seems safe if you go slow and test how far you want to go instead of just immediately roasting it.
Mine charged from Timewalker! The mad titan should be shipping this week!

Well if it gets torched and melts you can always make a post snap custom Thanos
I’d try a regular hairdryer first. A heat gun gets a lot hotter and is much more likely to do harm than good.
We have a heat gun at work we use for various things. I’m thinking that might get a higher temp. I’m nervous to use that on this expensive figure. Any suggestions using this?
Lol, right. Personally I don't trust a heat gun or any kind of forced heat other that hot water personally.I'm starting to feel more comfortable with the dremeling option now. [emoji38]

If you know you're keeping the figure, Dremel it as it is the best way to achieve the look you want. If you think you make sell down the road, take the non permanent route.
Don't really understand the logic in that. Permanently machining away plastic and putting the figure in warm water is less tricky and risky than blowing hot air on the shoulder. And moving it away quickly and easily to check or alter the temp ?? Then go for it guys.
Just went with the hair dryer approach with great success. The only thing I would mention is that one should be mindful that without cutting away material from the vest, the extra will have to "bulge" somewhere. What I mean to say as you compress the upper armor, it wants to buckle a bit at the back of the arm hole on the vest or the front, whichever part is weaker. I managed to split the difference and keep an overall circular shape with a small gap equidistant around the arm. It doesn't close the gap completely, however it doesn't distort the arm opening of the vest either.

Hey brother. You got the exact same results as I did. Mine did not distort at all. GREAT work, buddy. Perfect explanation about the front and back.

Does anyone know if Timewalker will double box this release?
I have read that Timewalker does double box but I don’t know for sure. This and the IM Mark L are my first purchases from them. I’ll know soon enough though and will report back
