This board is hilarious; tons of threads full of complaining about Hot Toys rushing out figures with QC issues and bad sculpts; but disappointment that Thanos isn't "rushed" out before Chinese New Year and they "teased" us for an early release that they couldn't deliver? As someone said earlier, have patience, you know its coming soon, give them the chance to make sure its the best they can deliver.

Pretty sure they’ll release this one after the Chinese New Year break. Either this or the Hulkbuster 2.0 Powerpose figure since that has an updated date (Feb - March) from the Sideshow website.

I think JC Hong's Instagram telling everyone it was coming soon didn't help. the release soon teaser made people think Mid-February, early March but the Instagram photo got everyone's hopes up it might be a week or two after that photo.

Same with me. I love HT because of the figure overall. The HS, outfit, accessories and how i enjoyed the part the character played in the film are all part of why i collect this stuff. Things will change a little from proto to production but i have very rarely been disappointed when i pull a figure out of the box.

The sculpt on my rescue cap are not up to todays standards but that figure overall is just amazing to me even after all these years. I would keep that one over all my other caps.

I am pretty sure i am going to be very happy when Thanos arrives

Well said Subzro! I have a similar way of thinking. I buy what looks good to me. At the end of the day, I'm the one who will be looking at my collection the most. I also love figures with a lot of accessories that I can use to make the figure look fresh to me.

Great point about Rescue Cap, one of my favorites too! Although, after CA Cap with my mods/extras, I think I'd probably keep him if I could only keep one.
