Thor was the best character in IW and his figure will be the best Thor HT ever made. Definitely gonna pre order this.

Best hero character to me as well in the movie. Haven't been the biggest fan of his character because I thought the first two Thor movies were a bit bland. He was good in Avengers and AoU but the character was really redeemed in Ragnarok and IW to me.

Thanos was a great villain in the movie so for "best character" in IW the two are pretty well tied for me.

I'm torn. I don't have a Thor yet and I did love him in this movie. I do agree with loki2371 that if I'm going to have one Thor in my collection then he should probably have his hammer and long hair, BUT I also feel like Chronos1919 in that I wasn't a big fan of the character until the last two movies. Hmmm...I've been thinking about getting this version and displaying him with Mjolnir even if it's not movie accurate.

I really think Ragnarok is what changed my view on Thor. I never really got into his earlier films as a character so I stayed away from the figure in general. Now seeing him again in IW, I think that is the HT figure I would like to display. He really looks bad *** too along with his new weapon.....Stormbreaker

I was torn as well. Ended up picking up Roadworn Thor and pre-ordering IW Thor. I like the IW version better but still wanted to have a classic looking Thor.

I ordered this Thor because I do like the short hair look. I didn't get Gladiator Thor because I don't like the paint on his face.
Roadworn does look good, but my favorite Thor figure is the Dark World version.

To paraphrase Odin “you’re not the god of hammers (or long hair)”
I’d say get this version. Best he’s looked imo.

I am not a huge fan of thor in the comics but definitely not a fan of the first two thor movies. And I thought the previous hot toys thor look pretty bad cos of the long hair.
I started to love him from ragnarok thus I got gladiator thor on po and I just can't not get this one, he looks too awesome with the eye patch. I don't care if none of my thors have mjolnir, and I may get it loose and display it with either one of my thors when I got them.

I wasn't planning on getting this before seeing the film, now it's up there. If they "fix" it to look like the final version we saw in the film I'll bite.

This figure is really a tough one for me. Thor is one of my absolute favorite characters. AOU version is a keeper as it's the best version that closely resembled the comics. Ragnarok is on PO and will be a keeper since I just adored that movie and the alternate look was fantastic.

I wasn't in love with the IW look, especially the figure, but holy crap he was so amazing in the movie I just can't seem to stop staring at the place order button.

Yeah that's pretty much me too. I'd made my decision not to go for IW Thor as I prefer just about everything on the Gladiator figure which I too have on PO (absolutely can't wait to get my hands on that - adore the look). However, I do keep coming back to the Infinity War version because he's so awesome in the flick...and I wouldn't be at all surprised if I end up pulling the trigger.

Just preordered this! I love storm breaker. sucks we gotta wait a year to get it

finally preordered thor, was gonna wait to get some more reward points in my account but decided not to wait, the short hair look on thor has grown on me and this is a badass look for thor with stormbreaker and all, hopefully the different colored eye wont look too funky in hand, though i do love the eyepatch look too.

You can't take the full force of the star. It will kill you

Only if I die

YES.....That's what killing you means!!!!

Pre-ordered Thor after watching the movie. He was the stand out along with Thanos imo. Ordered through SSC and with reward points came out to about $180. Not bad.

Has anyone commented on the scale of Hot Toys' Stormbreaker? Seems a bit under-sized, specifically compared to how it looks in the scene where:

It's lunged into Thanos' chest. The axe and hammer appear way bigger than Thor's head. And it also appears almost as tall as him with the Groot handle.

Perhaps it was scaled wrong by the CGI department just in that scene, but I'm curious how others feel about it.

Hot Toys gets weapon sizes wrong a lot. Look at the flamethrower that comes with Ripley compared to how small it is in the movie.

It does look a bit on the undersized side but it’s hard to tell from these angles.

Seems close enough to me based on those two images. The movie still shows the axe at a more profile angle. So it makes sense it would appear a little larger than the HT photo which shows the axe at a more forward angle.

I have a picture of the scene that I typed out in spoilers. It's on my phone. I just don't know if it'd be allowed to stay posted, even in spoilers. Besides it's pretty blurry. I'm sure it could be found somewhere online, though.

In any case, Stormbreaker looks HUGE in that scene. Much bigger than in that still ^ up there. I'm starting to wonder if it was just scaled up by the CGI team/film makers just to show that it really caused damage to someone as big as Thanos. I think it looks cool either way.
