What's funny is this particular figure has been almost ready to unveil since HT got the SW license.

Well... it's about time. This fig has been rumored or wished for seemingly for the last two years.

Clearly never owned Yunsil work.

The clothing is nice I give it that. But the HS is not gonna beat HT. Not a single custom ROTJ like HS got it right. And at the end of the day. People is still gonna prefer the official product.

Didn't love the Yunsil stuff. The cloak especially just didn't seem to capture the costume. The headsculpt looked very Richard Chamberlain.

That's not to say the HT head will be a bullseye either given Ht's record with SW.

Alternate heads please. I don't like the pic where it looks like his mouth is open

Yeah, surely if we get a second Yoda sculpt this fig would come with two.

They had it planned under lock and key probably since TLJ started filming. Merchandisers where waiting to find a perfect stage to reveal it.

Wanted to really surprise the fans, conventions would've ruined the momentum

It's also the Disney way of things

At least after this batch of figures I think I'm mostly done. Give me Lando, Bespin Han, Jabba, and maybe Wicket. That'll pretty much give me what I want. I'm sure they'll pull out a few more things I'll want but that's about the majority of what I want.

I just hope they find a way to keep the proto to production slide at a minimum for Jedi Luke (and all the rest for that matter), assuming the proto is good, of course. I'm encouraged by how TFA Han turned out.

I want nothing to do with another installment of "Here's your near perfect Luke! (At Comicon)' Oops, Tom Cruise (in hand)". Please, please get Luke right
