I just hope HT won't wait too long before announcing this figure with official pics, because these "leaked" pics apparently were taken in February, so obviously this figure is a work in progress and what we see of it probably has changed by the time we see it again.
How do you know they were taken in Feb? Sure took a while to leak.
They were probably leaked on purpose just to start us talking about it.
Since we are all talking about it, knowing they aren't final pics, and we can all see them anyway, why don't I just post them again? Damage is already done.
Hot Toys, we have all seen these now anyway. We know it's not final. Instead of forcing the MODS to yank these, just impress the hell out of us with final proto pics later.
Lets see how long these last:
The base does still look kinda cool. Definitely cheaper than buying a whole figure to cut in half.

That could very well be the case. Maybe they want to hear what we have to say about these pics so they can improve the figure or add accessories.
So going by that assumption:
I would like to see:
Interchangable heads, regular and battle damaged
Same equipment as the first figure.
Maybe light-up Endo eyes in the base...
Any guesses on when the official announcement might be???

A couple board members, (like Chaserfan, who was the first to show these pics), mentioned Feb.
In regards to the pics, there are a lot of reasons why HT don't want us to upload the pics. HT might not have gotten the rights to use this representation of the character from WB or it wasn't even slated for a release.

I just wish that we'd got this base with the first one. I'd still buy the second ( if its released ) as I'm sure that a second head will be included with it.

Got the pm. I actually like the clothes on the regular one better and the headsculpts the same but that base is friggin crazy!!! I think I'm gonna get this one

I'm still glad I ordered the first version. The base is kind of cool but not all that great and the outfit on V1 is waaaaay cooler.
This new one is just black BDUs. Looks like every Swat and Special Forces guy on the block.

Okay, WTF, does Hot Toys have some kind of power over mods here, or is this just a violation of freedom of press? Stop blocking the damn base shots.

Well if they own the picture and didn't give legal permission for it to be used, which it to me is clear they didn't as they have not put the HT logo over the photo, my guess is everytime you post it after its removed, you risk HT taking legal action against this website, and the site may remove you to avoid that.
Just a heads up to be careful.
That's my point though, how can HT take action against a forum where the content is supplied by people all over the world who have access to the entire net? That's like taking action against Photobucket for having the photos hosted there. I don't think there's a real threat here.

The mods are still responsible for the content though I think.
Its like if your 16 year old friend gets drunk at your house, leaves and gets into a car accident, your parents are held responsible, not his parents.
Like I said, I dont care, but just be sure so you don't get banned or anything. That would really suck.
Is it 100% confirmed that this new pic that everyone saw is a second totally different Connor Figure. Now I have not seen it for myself yet, but I ask because I remember the guy who sculpted, weapon x, said it was not the final product, that he was not happy with it and was gonna make some "upgrades" to the sculpt which I have yet to see.
