Wow that looks great! Where did you get the suit from and are you using the Hot Toys underlying body and just replaced the suit?

Thanks. It's an old VorToys suit I've had for a while, and put on a generic narrow shoulder body that I extended the legs on to make it a bit more tall and lanky like Keanu. I forgot to account for the arms being exposed in that pose though so will probably have to find something else.

If it's true the HT suit is too restrictive, it'll be nice to have at least one Wick figure that can pull off that signature pose. :)

Awesome idea. I might get a poptoys white shirt and make a custom myself. I know a guy who may be piecing out a HT Wick.

Well I may not have the main figure yet, but I did receive the parted out head yesterday and quickly threw together a custom white shirt version using the old VorToys suit. I also touched up the paint a little, darkening and raising up the beard (which seems to help make the face look a bit longer), darkening and thickening the mustache, and thickening the eyebrows.

The likeness does feel improved to me now, although it still doesn't work from every angle. And yes I know I need to find a body with less cheap looking forearms. :D

That looks superb. Really well done. That is the pose to have.

I'm trying to figure out how to make the legs on my John Wick customs be a bit thicker as they seem too thin at the moment.

Cheers for the advice but It’s the collar on all those shirts.
The best thing about hot toys John wick is how crisp, fitted & straight lined they have got the suit.
It’s perfect but yes it does restrict arm movement but you can work around it.
It’s by far the best 1/6 clothing iv seen so far.
I’ve ordered a second wick to mod & im gonna try & fit him with the best white shirt I can find

That sounds like a good idea! Please keep us posted on a good white shirt if you end up modding!

Yeah the collar on mine is not the best at the moment. I do have a black shirt with a crisper collar though, so I could always switch to that look since it was just as cool.

Only problem is it might seem a bit too similar to the HT outfit...

Hey I’m not saying yours is bad or anything-
It’s a great piece of work!
One of the best looking John wick customs iv seen.
I’m hoping hot toys will release a white shirt version& I think they will.
With chapter 3 out&4 on the way, having Keanu’s likeness rights they’ll hopefully capitalise on it.
If you’ve got the hot toys John wick coming tho you would be as well removing the undercoat, for that black Suit look tho

I’m definitely modding my second one, iv seen a couple of shirts & I think it may just have to be a case of trial & error with them to see how they suit the original suit.

Yeah I really like the Sculpt too, it’s a great figure!
My 2nd one has just been sent out from sideshow too

Received the actual figure today and I gotta say it looks absolutely amazing in hand. As much as I like the custom I just put together, the suit on the HT figure looks a thousand times better and more polished.

Only problem is, I barely even took the figure out of the box and already lost one of the buttons on the vest. Which is annoying as hell. Not sure why they have to use such weak *** glue to hold them on. :(

My V1 Hot Toys Starlord came with replacement buttons for his long red coat. Any chance Mr. Wick here came with extra buttons at least, in case they fall off over carpet never to be seen again? Sorry you have to deal with gluing that back on, shouldn't be the case for this price point.

I haven't done a thorough check yet to see if they're included, but I have enough from previous figures that I can probably use. These buttons are sort of a metallic black though, so I'd have to paint them to match.

And I can't just consider it battle-damage either, since this is supposed to be an indestructible, bullet-proof suit. :D

The buttons are near near the extra hand pegs.

Just got mine today and it is Amazing! The arms are very restrictive from movement but if you work with it you can get the arms up. I do think getting rooted hair on the sculpt and a slight paint touch up it can look even better.
