Geek, you got the nose right, which is what's off in the stock head sculpt. Kudos, excellent work!

I would love to be able to get a replacement head sculpt like that.

I used the TA headsculpt and asked yelim if she could paint it like the prototype and thats what i got.

Many people complain of not being able to leave the Wonder Woman with their arms crossed in classic pose, afraid to break the body, so I was thinking, Hot Toys could do with the deluxe version of Wonder Woman as well as the deluxe version of the Hulk "Age of Ultron." The body of the WW is embedded, the upper trunk of the abdomen, that's how the clothes come out. They could send an extra upper chest, already with arms crossed fixed and with the hand and the bracelets also fixed. So when the collector wanted to expose himself to the classical pose, he would have to change his chest and put his head. Much better than a deluxe version of the Justice League with the black cloak, which she does not even use in this movie, but in her solo movie.

HT doesn't care anymore they have released the same body 3 times and it will be the same one they use on the 84 figures.

A friend of mine had a great idea that Hot Toys should open a small sub department which has a sculptor and painter. They could then do an additional headsculpt for some figures. Collectors could simply pay more to get an additional headsculpt.

I think it would be awesome. If they decided to release it a few months after the main release then people will may not feel so stung by the additional cost. I reckon they would get enough volume to make them for about $100 or maybe slightly less each.

Wonder what others would think about that ? An additional sculpt can bring so much to a figure.

Offering additional sculpts is something that’s been talked about for years. Unfortunately it’s just not something HT has decided to do. :(

Wonder if the "talk" ever gets to Hot Toys though ? An additional issue would be likeness approval which I'm guessing a HS would also need to go through. Perhaps not something Disney would want to be a part of ?

I don’t know. I can’t imagine it hasn’t crossed their mind though. I’m guessing it’s cost prohibitive somehow and that full figures bring in better profits.

Yaaaaaa no regrets buying this version! I traded my BvS last year because a few things bothered me too much (doll face, long neck, harness, etc). Really happy to see they fixed most of it on the JL.

Glad to have a Wonder Woman back into my collection!
