This really does feel like ESB Vader in some ways-- from a couple angles and in a couple pics (like the one above) the head looks pretty good.... but in the vast majority of them it just looks really off to me.

The BVS certainly looks too doll-like and cartoonish, but other than looking more "realistic" the JL just doesn't feel like much of an upgrade given it reminds me a whole lot more of Maria Hill than Gal Gadot.

I still see the hair is the issue..not the sculpt.. it’s too thick in the bangs and it needs to be pulled back in certain areas. I’m still going to execute my plan using my secret weapon and I’m sure it will help, I don’t care what anyone says.

Interesting. In other comparison photos, I thought the BvS version looked better. However, in your photos, I actually think the JL version looks better.

Did they fixed the exposed butt cheek issue on this one that the BvS version suffered from?

I know everyone has entitled to their opinion. But these comparison pics emphasize how realistic the JL version is and better. Gal is beautiful, elegant and gorgeous, however she is not a teenager guys..she is a grown woman in her mid 30’s and a lot of times we can see the wrinkles and lines that prove her age albeit modelesque. The JL looks more natural and aged like Gal’s face . Now next to it the BVS seems more like a younger cosplay version of her as WW

I get how Justin said BVS looks cartoonish..it does seem more dollish now.

I also like the skin tone of the JL version more ( whether we see the return of the shiny skin or not )

JL version looks superior in every aspect for me. JL sculpt looks more realistic but neither of them look very much like Gal Gadot IMO. The visible brow and sculpted hair really helps sell the likeness on the training sculpt but that to has many inaccuracies.

Still looking forward to my JL WW and hope HT can really nail the likeness for the WW84 figure.

This will always be the classic WW figure for me, because of the motherbox, accessories and classic robe she wore in WW and saw her wear in the WW2 photo Bruce found in BvS and used in WW. However, if HT comes up with a better sculpt (I like this one very much) I'll simply pick up the better head and be even happier.

I am seeing there is a difference in her legs too in that the JL one's legs appear to be further apart and also 'bow' outwards where the BvS bow a little inward.

I don't think there's a right or wrong decision here. Both aren't the best likeness which we all seem to agree on so it's purely down to taste. I get the doll analogy with regards to the BvS but I just personally think the features in the JL are far too severe and hawkish.

At 0:39, I noticed that the JL heads nose is narrower and the upper and lower lips has more curvature compared to the TA head. It seems there is a very subtle warp on the lower left part of the JL head near the area of the nose and mouth. This is probably caused by a deformity in the mold, or it not being properly seated before the JL heads were cast. This subtle warp was enough to make the nose a little longer or bigger when seen at the side and narrower when seen in front and from below. The upper lip protrudes more on the JL head compared to the TA head when viewed below at 0:39 of the video. I believe that the TA and JL heads are from the same original sculpt but the JL head unfortunately went through a defective mold, or a mold that was not properly seated.

I hope that the 2nd and 3rd batches of JL WW will be through another mold with better results.

Unlikely but it sometimes happens where the later batches came out a little better, like the DX02 and the leaky oil suit.
