It would be very cool if someone made a classic version of these two, not unlike Triad Zorro-which is an amazing figure.

I couldn't wait so I kitbashed one for myself and posted it in the customs section

They got this license because of Depp, he is the main seller for them and with the way the movie is performing i woudn't expect a figure from ths line for a few years.

The film is tracking to be a modest success once you factor global ticket sales so I would imagine that Disney would look to a sequel just to keep Depp in its wheelhouse (the film data is suggesting that he is the draw, not the character itself which many don't remember), so I would imagine HT will make a Tonto, again to capitalize on Depp, and then hold to see what Disney does before moving ahead on anything. Unless this thing takes off which is unexpected I wouldn't expect a while lot here.

Yep. We saw what is surely the workings of a Lone Tanger Proto way back in January (on New Years I think). Prince of Persia didnt do well and we still got Dastan who goes for like around $250 now if I'm not mistaken. As I've said before though, I'm only in it for Tonto (if they make him) and will consider the Ranger himself if I like the movie (which I'm sure I will)

Id love to see Helena Bonham Carter as Red. i highly doubt hotToys will do her, she'd be too much of a doll......but id love to see how they would do her wooden leg!!! It's a gun for those who dont know...i think that would be awesome, makes me go back to when Grindhouse came out...i wanted a hotToys figure of Cherry sooooooo bad!

Screw the critics. This is a good film. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see the figures. I hope they make three figures. Tonto, the Lone Ranger and Silver.

HT might be onto something if they did that. Tonto as a single figure, and a Lone Ranger and Silver box set a la Ghost Rider and Sam Flynn.

DiD (i think thats who made the ones i've seen) has made some good ones with faux fur on them. They look great too IMO

The did make one, but it was very rare. I've never even see a photo, only heard about it.

Now this one would look nice in white.
