Like everything, depends on the person selling them. I've seen people give them away for the cost of shipping, and that's it. Then on the extreme other end I've seen asshats on EBay selling just the box mind you, the box and the trays, for $30+ (not including shipping).

yea, i have never been so stressed out in my life , putting wolf together pissed me off so bad, but once i was done i was happy and i thinking back on it, it was fun. I hope they come out with every single predator there is, especially the lost preds. and definently predator 1 and the commandos. all i want from the previous lines are predator 2 and elder predator2.

i agree that all the Lost Preds would be an awesome shelf for sure. hopefully the first of the year HT will announce some news in regards to the Commandos and Predator 1

Just got mine! Overall I'm very impressed and happy because it has been awhile since a Predator was released. IMO you definitely need to use the hot water trick to make his dreads look better. It looks horrible straight out of the box. I dipped the dreads in hot water and put a rubber band around the head while it cooled down. Still not perfect and I may mod it again later. Also if you get the incorrect elbow joints you really need to get the replacement. It really stands out if you don't have it replaced. Here are some quick pics. Now bring on P1

Oh I forgot to mention that I think the neck collar is a none issue. Once you have him in hand you don't really notice that ugly connection at his neck. You have to look really hard to even see it.

just to let you know, if i really want to scalp this, i would have bought more than 1.

there are 2 reasons why i dont want to open mine now.

first reason, for all HT toys (i have rambo, predators) i choose not to open since i dont have my own place yet. i am still moving around.
and i dont wanna break these expensive toys when i move or lose some parts.

second reason, if lot of people turn up to complain about the wrong elbow color or maybe hot toys will fix this issue in the future. i can go back to the seller and exchange mine. but if mine is opened, the seller will refuse to get it back.

If you get the wrong colored elbows what do you do to get the correctly colored ones?
I bought mine off of Ebay so what should I do if I get the wrong colored elbow(s)?

Not aimed at anybody, but it is quite annoying that collectors have to justify them selves for keeping their collectibles in the box! Whatever reason they may have to keep it MIB, it's their money, their collectible, their problem.

As far as scalpers/flippers are concerned: they have always been around, and they will continue be around. Annoying, but that's the way it is.

I would try contacting the seller first. Hot Toys should have sent him the replacements. If not then contact Hot Toys, I'm sure they can work something out. Take some pics of the wrongly colored elbows and email them to customer service.

i know that i dont have to. but i am just trying to be a nice dude here.

i know why people dont like scalpers. me neither but i know i cant do nothin about it.

but i always try to put myself into someone else's shoes.

there was a time when i couldnt get what i want just because people scalp the figure. this is so IRRITATING. and i know how it feels.

and so for the guy who thinks that i am a scalper, they may not like what i do. and since that wasnt the case, i am trying to enlighten him that this is not what i do.

at the end of the day, i really hope one day, we all as collectors can buy whatever we want (maybe someday, i wish) without have to bother with the price hike.

look at ht avp predators, yaiks. i cant imagine if i was a new collector and just got myself interested and later find out that there is no way i cant get them because of the exorbitant price, IT HURTS.

bah, just cancelled my pre-order on this guy. i will wait for him to get to me, i dont see this guy selling out . plus ages three and up by my house is going to be getting a couple in so i can get him there. now.. time to get battle damaged predator 2

I think specifically with the HT Preds it's weird to keep them boxed because they're in pieces. I think that's why some people found it odd. If you notice, no one cares if someone keeps a fully intact figure boxed up or in it's original packaging. I've seen people on here display packaged figures and no one questioned it. So that's why imo some people made comments. It's all good.
