Umm I think your post should be in spoiler tags, please...I've seen the movie, but if I hadn't, I wouldn't have wanted to read that

FAORA: MY NEW FAVORITE SUPERVILLAIN. Faora pulls not one single punch. Not a one. She means business. And she looks fabulous doing it. Faora actually throws a car through the Kent family residence. A lady with a temper...! Girl-crushes for you, Faora. Love: from me.

Faora can get it. I don't normally dig that pixie cut look but hot damn.

Should it have been spoiler tagged? That's debatable considering this is a known fact going back to the comic books.

she was talking about the movie not the comics. I personally don't like reading anything related to the movie other than say talking about what was in the trailers. Like when IM3 was just released overseas but not in the US and ppl were already just saying thigs like "oh Mandarin isn't what you think. dont think I'll buy this figure now" of course not giving it all away but it already puts doubt in your mind about the character before having seen the movie. Same thing here...

I had no idea the phantom zone would be in the movie.Thought they would do something different tbh and if I had read that before seeing the movie I would've been upset b/c it already gives away how that part of the movie goes down. Sure it's the typical thing to assume since that's the way it was done in the Reeve films and the phantom zone is in the comics, but who's to say that it couldn't be done differently for the film?

My point was that this is a known fact of Zod going back before the Superman film in the 70s. I don't see why the writers would change up a 50(ish) year old storyline.

B/c they could if it worked out better for what they were doing. I know it's been done in the comics (hence why I said in the Reeve films and comics)...doesn't mean it can't change for the movie...

I understand your point completely. :1-1: and a spoiler tag would be justified had the writers flipped the script.

Well, its pretty well known that what goes down, goes down - not sure that's a spoiler. Its been common knowledge for months. And I wasn't quoting actual dialog.... hardly, lol. Kind of like saying "Don't say Clark Kent grows up on a farm, spoiler tags please!!!" As they say in Game of Thrones, "It is known."

My point was that nothing was done to show the least bit of this eerie, frightening place. Which is a total shame.

It's not common knowledge for ppl like me who stayed away from anything but the trailers. Just trying to help out other potential members who are like myself but havent seen the movie yet. I understand what your point was however, as I said in my reply to jimmie, had I read that before seeing the film, i wouldve been highly upset. Just think it's common courtesy to put things related to the film in spoiler tags when not in the movie thread is all.

Please stop talking about the movie here in the figure thread. I haven't seen the movie and I'm avoiding the movie thread intentionally, but now I can't read posts in here for fear of reading something I don't want to know. As far as figures are concerned, I like the look of Faora, from what I have seen so far, and I think she would look really good if HT made a figure of her. I'm not buying HT figures anymore but I still think it would be an awesome looking figure.

Which look do you prefer?

Please don't hesitate to report any more foolishness from newbies who think they can treat this forum like the Spawn forum from whence they came. . .FYI, they can't. Thanks.

That is a tough one. They are very different. Obviously, one more ceremonial. Since we will probably only get one, if any at all, I will wait until later today after I see the movie to decide which I'd rather have. Of course, I don't thing either would suck.

Whichever's fine, really. As long as it matches whichever armor version Zod'll come with. They are doing Zod, aren't they?

I, for one, would love a Lara figure with that floating sentry thingy as a bonus so that we have the whole El family.
