Did I read something about Sideshow possibly shipping this guy sooner than expected or did I dream that? (the arrival estimate on the website is listed as Oct-Dec)

I'd say Mid-Sept it'll likely get there. I hope to have this by October 1.

I get like that. Or there's figs I blew off for a few years and all of a sudden I take a second look and realize I NEED that fig, after all.

There's leaked set pics around w. Cap in a "classic/Ultron-ish" costume. Red gloves and all. Probably some time travel/quantum thing.

U can find them just Google. Also I figure the last of Evan's Cap will be in classic outfit as Russos are comic nerds. Wouldn't be surprised
to see Winter Soldier back w. silver arm, either.

So I'm not worried about a last "classic Cap" plus then older figures will be dumped to the market. A lot of people only want one fig of a character

Haha pretty much me and MCU figs. And yeah I've seen that image too. I'm pretty sure we will get him too. So I'll hold off on paying the second hand prices, and just wait for the classic versions to pop up for preorder. I'm hoping we get classic Hulk too. My dream scenario would be to have Thor, Iron Man, Cap, Hulk, Spiderman, Dr. Strange, and maybe Black Panther or Ant Man.

When considering buying the original Avengers Cap, I realized how much better HT have gotten at the Evans sculpt. The original barely looked like him. They perfected it with AoU and CW.

He looks great but I wasn't sure if I REALLY wanted him but just like I did with the Stealth VII Ironman, I ordered before it was too late. I don't regret it. I can always sell him later if I decide I don't want him.

Yeah. Srsly thinking more than once of cancelling. For me it's kind of a splurge. OK, Cap is in a black outfit. If I get Bucky the sculpt will look cool e.g. Bucky Cap.

*Ducks* but honestly also for me it's just kind of a dull release. Am on the fence......

They actually perfected it with the Winter Soldier Steve Rogers sculpt.

Well I was 99% gonna cancel $$$$. Then I figured out I threw some reward points in + NRD which I would lose. *Shrug* Watching some YT vids really not happy with what I see as a lot of rubber - arms, sleeves. Not coated rubber like BP, but rubber or plastic.

But I did get the price down with RP and he does look cool. Just hope HT got its act together re materials. And I have a spare damaged shield w. more color and an unhelmeted head sculpt.

Also, this may be one of those figs for me like BP where I am kinda on the fence, then I get the figure and I end up happy over the long run.

SS still has this for $251... and prices are over $400 on ebay. I guess that's usual, but sellers are anticipating a very high price on this once it sells out.

Just wish I knew if HT was going to use this body for its next A4 Cap.
