I think the Beach boys said it best :

"You know it seems the more we talk about it
It only makes it worse to live without it
But lets talk about it
Wouldnt it be nice"

It would wouldnt it ???

Sorry Mods

Was trying to humouressly start a thread about a hyperthetical product

So as Mooncat ducks under his asbestos Blanket

"Wouldnt it be nice ?"

This thread got me thinking about what a piece of ^^^^ the McFarlane version was...

Got it on clearance, brought it home, posed it. a month later I picked it up for dusting, and it literally crumbled into 3 pieces. Didn't do anything to it...just picked it up... :banghead

Anyway, the HT Powerloader nicely takes care of my exoskeleton needs quite nicely.

Mine broke in half while picking it up once. And how they couldn't make it in scale with the rest of the line or else make the Sentinels in scale with the A.P.U....?!

I started opening any McFarlanes I got after that in the parking lot of the mall/store before I left and about a good 10% of them had me walking right back in to exchange it for one that had all it's points of articulation working.

Yup, it broke at the waist, and also broke one of the arms off. Very low-grade plastic.

I had started taking mine apart to try to replace the joints but eventually gave up. The construction used makes it rather difficult for repair.

lol, it's Otay Mcat, I get it just fine & yes, it would be nice. So very nice.

I don't think anyone's McFarlane APU survives to this day without having sustained at least one of the main reported breakages. I had both the shoulder break and the midsection split in half.

Hot Toys will never do this one as a 1/6th, far too big. McFarlane didn't dare do one for figures that were under 7" for godsakes. I know Hot Toys can be adventurous but not to this extent otherwise we'd have the Alien Queen by now.

Holy crap...had an almost identical reply to the one I had up there a year ago! damn necroposts...
