Hot Toys makes the weirdest design choices. They should have stuck with the renders from MGS 3 HD.

But, Ryan took those screen . He also took some from The Document of MGS 2 a few months ago, and that's where I got the picture for my nifty Solidus avatar.

Care to explain how you do the screen captures, good buddy?

I took snapshots with the Vita by merely pressing the Home+Start button. It's a shame Sony didn't updated the PS3's firmware to take snapshots like the Vita and PS4. Anybody needs snapshots of MGS HD or the Document of MGS2, just drop me a PM.

ACtually Its Konami/KojiPro that give them renders to base them off of. From what i understand they tell Figure companies which character to make a figure from aswell. Not sure if HT work the same for the latter though

Yeah, the Vita could up with some truly remarkable visuals, especially on that OLED screen. The only downside to that is that we're seeing less and less AAA games on it due to the high production values. MGS HD, Uncharted, Rayman and Killzone are probably the only console quality titles that looks jaw dropping.

As for the decision to use the revised renders for new figures, yes that is Kojima and Shinkawa to blame. They barely acknowledge how the characters look in the old game and Kojima went so far as saying Old Snake look stiff and ugly compared to the Ground Zeroes Snake. So much for "building the future and keeping the past alive", eh Kojima?
The reason I bought it was due to the ability to play MGS2/3 on the go, something I always I had always dreamed for decades ago. That, and PS1 Classics and remote play.

That's my reason for buying an original PSP. And to play Prince of Persia on the go but that is another reason for me to get the Vita basically. When the price drops again

Going to bash a mgs snake. Anyone can recommend a good harness and belt? I got the head, tigerstrip suit, etc. Just need the belt and harness that looks like the one in most peoples pics. On ebay preferably. Many Thanks!

I think most are using the harness from the hot toys figure and yeah, ebay is your best bet I would think

I love this figure, would be cool to see them also make Solid Snake and the new Venom Snake would be awesome as well, I'm in the beginning stages of bashing Venom myself, I a lot of research to do and gaming to get done to see what look I want to put together, good luck on your bash

I still cant get over that just two minor tweaks would have made a huge difference, namely adding the mullet and connecting the beard to the mustache.
