Hot Toys Michael Jackson Beat It review

I'm not a huge Michael Jackson fan, but even I can see just what an amazing job Hot Toys has done with their versions of the iconic pop star. This latest one is part of their controversial 10th Anniversary set of figures, and it's based on his look in the Beat It video. I had a few minor issues, and I'm not a big proponent of the limited nature, but it's still a mighty sweet figure.

Good review. I've been praising this figure for a while now. It's the only MJ figure i HAD to have. (so far) I agree on the value score, but we know it's like that cause of the exclusives. Probably will be worth a pretty penny 6 mos from now. (I paid 240$ shipped for mine, but only cause i love this version so much. There are deals to be had if patient on ebay though) Looks like yours lost a button!

The dog I have is Rotweiller.

Yep, I like the Thriller expression much better with the subtle smile - here, the face is too blank and unemotional.

Yep, I like the Thriller expression much better with the subtle smile - here, the face is too blank and unemotional.

I think there was a previous Thriller sculpt that had the smile too, but better than the final version. I am glad they gave the Beat It sculpt a serious expression. For some reason the Thriller figure looks weird when giving several different poses, not so much for the Beat It. I blame the smile on Thriller
