Someone just throws out their idea that Hot Toys might farm it out? I'll throw out the idea that Hot Toys makes it in house. No one here knows for sure.

Also, they made a frickin' full size Hulkbuster. A few of them. That proves they know how to make giant size stuff. The press & buzz they'll get out of a SW toy expo/show with a 1/6 Falcon and possible Harrison Ford & JJ photo op when the new movie hits is gonna pay them back big time.

My grail. I've been telling friends for years that I wanted the Falcon cockpit. I was going to go as far as to try to start a project to customize one based on some of the work I've seen on these boards. Words don't describe how excited I am for this.

I'm not even entertaining the notion that HT isn't making the Falcon. Makes no sense to me.

I read a few places that he'll be doing a lot of press for Force Awakens. He was scheduled for SW Celebration but missed because of his plane crash.

SDCC is gonna go nuts if he shows up tomorrow!

According to member Shadow on Rebelscum the Hot Toys Falcon cockpit and TIE Fighter are prototype concept models built just for this show, these are not confirmed or approved products yet. In essence Hot Toys is testing the waters to see what the reaction will be.

That looks like the kind of plaque on the items they don't have plans to sell, the like 1/6 TIE Fighter and other dioramas in the past, as opposed to say one of the other "$TBD / Licensor Approval" type cards on other items.
