no problem Sickness, it helped a-dev and cross my fingers you will have the same results.

Will there be more shirts getting parted out? I think it's scandalous to be paying $28 for a little shirt. Considering you can get a white shirt for a couple of $.

$28 for the t-shirt or the cop shirt? I got a T-1000 shirt yesterday on eBay for $5 shipped, and another plain 1/6 tee for $4.

because my budget is very tight, I've decided to go ahead preorder this but now won't be able to get the Battle Damaged T-800 if and when that comes out. my logic is to have a figure for each character good vs. evil instead of two of the same character with different scene faces. plus a-dev is convinced me this is a must. am I making the right choice?

You'll be able to recreate the mall scene with your clean T-800 and Galleria T-1000.

Inevitably when the BD T-800 comes out you'll probably want that too though. Maybe you'll be able to fit it into your budget when the time comes.

yes that is what I'd like and when they finally release Reese recreate the Technoir scene since I already pre-ordered T1 T-800. I was jiggling between a T-800 progression, with T-800 clean and buy the Battle Damage down the road. but now I pre-ordered T-1000 I don't know if I can still get the Battle Damaged even if I have the funds because I don't have a matching damaged T-1000 to complement it for display (which I think would be the final scene where its body blew up from the grenade just before it fell into the smolten steel).

so how is your T-1000 and your first day with it, did you present it the box of roses from the T-800 lol.

So do you already have the standard T2 T-800, quiggle?

I would agree 100% with a-dev that this figure is a must(judging from just the awesome head sculpt alone that i have and people pics and reviews)
But you have to remember, just because other people think its a must have, doesnt mean you will....although theres no reason why not if youre a true Terminator fan.

You could just buy an extra body and a few other things like shirt and T-shirt to have a battle damaged T-1000.
Just use the split head and magnetic bullet wounds to create a battle damaged look.
If you want a "Steel-Mill" T-1000, you need the motorbike police boots and trousers, and the "Mall" police shirt and T-shirt.
And also the standard belt.
Basically, you would only need to buy a True-Type body, shirt and T-shirt, then youre good to go.
Please correct me if im wrong, somebody...I havent put much thought into this, just kind of guessing from memory.

the T2 T-800 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow! I'm taking off from service so I will be there to sign for it. it's the second wave one.

I won't lie T-1000 is not a favorite of mine maybe because the character is very stoic, even though he's a terminator like t-800 in the first movie t-800 at least said some funny lines that made you like him. but seeing more of the photos and reviews the figure is growing on me and it feels to make sense adding him to the collection when you view it from the entirety of the film's perspective.

since we also don't know what other figures/versions from the film will be released it makes more sense getting him to have a symmetrical pairing up of good guy vs. bad guy. who knows, maybe no Battle damage will happen and if I pass on T-1000 now and later on want it when its sold out I will surely regret it since this will probably raise in value in the future.

sorry I didnt see this part earlier. yeah I was just thinking about that split head with manga bullet wounds but am kind of nit picky because that is from Pescadero while T-800 had no visible damage and wanted to pair them up scene for scene wise. the clean ones work well because that is definitely Galleria Mall.

The blue police shirt is $28 in eBay ($3.99 to ship), then a ridiculous $34 for the blue shirt and pen with the same shipping price.

There the official white shirt thats available for bidding, which I'm not taking part in, $0.99 at the moment, with $6.00 to ship.

hey I was just wondering those loose pieces and accessories for these figures on Ebay, are they spare that come from the factory or do people buy cases of these figures, open them and separate the pieces to sell them as separate? tahnks!

Ideally quiggle would not only buy an extra Truetype, cop shirt and white T but also another clean T-1000 headsculpt. That would be all he'd need for the Steel mill T-1000 to go with the BD T-800. Everything else would be provided by the single purchase of the figure. Then he'd have both Galleria and Steel mill T-1000s with bullet damage optional for both.

I've had a great time today putting together my T-1000s. 3 purchased figures, together with 2 extra True types, a Sideshow cop shirt and T shirt and the donut head have given me 5 T-1000s total. I'm sorry I'm really not trying to brag about that. Bear in mind I lack sense with my money, I'm not buying any other Hot Toys line and the other thing I collect - the Hasbro Star Wars 3 3/4 line - has been sparse this year.

But anyway I've put together Galleria T-1000, Pescadero damage T-1000, Steel mill T-1000, Steel mill T-1000 w/ Donut head, and motorcycle cop T-1000. I haven't taken any pics yet but I will.

do they make more selling loose pieces than the figure as a whole? and can't some end up damaging the clothes, hands body removing them apart?

usually they're extremely careful with it, and yes sometimes the loose bits end up for selling more all together than a cost of the total figure.

Yeah they get the figure alot cheaper than we pay so just selling the body and headsculpt would recoup alot of the cost buying it in the 1st place.

forget photos I want to see a video!!! lol

I'll give your suggestion about the different T-1000 scenes some more thought thanks, I just measured my bookcase shelf and I think I only have room to fit four figures max (unless I throw out all my books), so maybe ideally having T-800 and Reese from T1 and T-800 and T-1000 might be the best way to go. of course if they make a Sarah and small John I might have to do some more shuffling.
