usually they're extremely careful with it, and yes sometimes the loose bits end up for selling more all together than a cost of the total figure.

Yeah they get the figure alot cheaper than we pay so just selling the body and headsculpt would recoup alot of the cost buying it in the 1st place.

it's very interesting thanks, do these who sell the pieces separate also sell the figures in their entirely for much cheap than SideShow and other dealers? or are they only getting these at the lower rate to sell them separate only?

But anyway I've put together Galleria T-1000, Pescadero damage T-1000, Steel mill T-1000, Steel mill T-1000 w/ Donut head, and motorcycle cop T-1000. I haven't taken any pics yet but I will.

Sounds amazing a-dev. Can't wait to see the photos. I was only going to do Galleria and Steel mill w/ Donut head. But after seeing MaulFan's photos of the motorcycle cop, I've caved in and started to buy the extra pieces I need.

Ideally quiggle would not only buy an extra Truetype, cop shirt and white T but also another clean T-1000 headsculpt. That would be all he'd need for the Steel mill T-1000 to go with the BD T-800. Everything else would be provided by the single purchase of the figure. Then he'd have both Galleria and Steel mill T-1000s with bullet damage optional for both.

I've had a great time today putting together my T-1000s. 3 purchased figures, together with 2 extra True types, a Sideshow cop shirt and T shirt and the donut head have given me 5 T-1000s total. I'm sorry I'm really not trying to brag about that. Bear in mind I lack sense with my money, I'm not buying any other Hot Toys line and the other thing I collect - the Hasbro Star Wars 3 3/4 line - has been sparse this year.

Whoa!! Awesome!
I will be getting 2 purchased and at least 1 extra true type.
I already have a clean sculpt waiting and im hoping to get a doughnut head for some variation.
And im the same with my money...but only when it comes to these things! I only collect 1/6 Terminator figures(at the moment) so its not so bad.
Anyway, cant wait to see Pics of them all, mate.
Hope mine comes tomorrow as an early surprise but I just know it wont.

Some sell a few whole figs but at the normal price. If u want to get a cheaper fig u have to buy em when they 1st come out, shipping tends to be the pricey bit though.

The blue police shirt is $28 in eBay ($3.99 to ship), then a ridiculous $34 for the blue shirt and pen with the same shipping price.

There the official white shirt thats available for bidding, which I'm not taking part in, $0.99 at the moment, with $6.00 to ship.

Maybe keep an eye on that seller, he had very reasonable prices and free shipping.

This is the other shirt I got, not an official T-1000 but looks like it'll do the trick for a good price:

As for the cop shirt, yeah I paid too much, but I tend to lose track of fiscal responsibility whenever I have a positive amount in my Paypal balance.

I preordered all of my extra bits off of Toy Anxiety... came to about $60 or so with a body. The belt and all the extra bits is really the killer. But still better than buying a 2nd figure and having a lot of extra parts.

Is it me or is the doughnut headsculpt a modded prototype sculpt? The release had the revamped ears but the doughnut looks like it has the dumbo ears? Can anyone with the two confirm?

Didn't Maulfan say the Donut head wasn't revamped, just the Regular T1000?

Naturally my batteries were dying when I started taking photos so this crappy lot are all I have at this time:

Damn dev, you're a fiend! 5 T-1000s? Nice. Don't be so humble, those pics are just fine. Good job.

I thought I was done with 3, but you know what, I think I should make another Steel Mill one with just the regular head after seeing your pics.

Hmm, what to do.

EDIT:

Oh just noticed you had the belt backwards on the T-1000. I know you're an accuracy nut like me so you might want to fix that.

I took the lower 2 metal sheets from off the torso of my Pescadero Battle Damage T-1000 and glued them to the back of my Galleria T-1000 so he can have exit wounds. I also added the pieces from spare T-1000 as Sarah Connor figures, two on the back and one on the leg (quirky I know but if you watch the Pescadero escape scene he gets shot in the leg and arm)

Thanks Difabio!

All 5 came of just 3 purchases of the MMS129. But there are some extras -
- 2 True types (one for biker and one for donut head)
- Donut head obviously
- a shirt from one of my recent SWAT figures (used on Biker cop)
- Sideshow T-1000 shirt (donut head uses it)
- Sideshows white T-shirt (I cut pieces off the bottom and used them as the just-visible collars for my Biker and Donut head T-1000s)
- Theres also some smaller Sideshow bullet impact thingies I'm using there

Damn A-dev I don't even have one yet and you have 5 ?!. :google:lol
Great haul. :rock

Many thanks!:D No complaints whatsoever about this figure. You just couldn't ask for more.

Oh that explains the buttons on the Dobut head's sleeves. I almost freaked thinking mine didn't have them.

Other than the large looking torso, collar and silver pen I can't even tell that's sideshow from your pics. Might have something to do with the way it's posed, not sure.

great job a-dev just as I knew it would.

do you have the photos with him interacting with T-800, Sarah available yet thanks!

Yeah the pen is bigger as are the buttons, and its a bit baggier overall but not massively so. I find it acceptable. The SWAT shirt I used on biker cop is baggier but thankfully its hidden under the jacket.

Nothing like that yet I'm afraid but I've never been great at creating good shots taken from the film. I may give it a go tomorrow. I also want to take a big ensemble shot of my entire Hot Toys T2 collection so far.

I can't believe shipping from Toys2 (Canada Post Small Packets Air International, $30.68) costs nearly as much as a truetype itself.

$57 for tracking.

100% accurate too. I don't believe you'd be able to ship this small packet air though. Too big and heavy for that.
