My LCS just got there shipment of the T-1000 in today, I was able to get 2 for myself, I was sooooo very happy until I found out my wife lost her job, what should have been a great day just got ruined.

hard to say, both looks great IMO. t-1000 would have a slight edge over T-800 due to more accessories.

For me, I'd say in the end, for different reasons, they equal out for me.

Figure Production Quality - EQUAL
Fun and Versatility - T-1000
Sentimental Value - T-800

Either way, you get a very well made figure, and from there, if you were to pick a best of the two, I'd say it comes down to what's more important to you, "play" value, or character value, of course, if you care more about T-1000's character than T-800, then T-1000 is a clear winner.

I love the iconic T-800 but I purchased 2 T-1000's and I feel you just get more play value and posing options from the T-1000, plus the HS looks just like Robert Patrick.

Because I only get figs I am a fan of and are big parts of pop culture instead of figs that look like fun (War Machine, Whiplash, etc.) I'd say I like T-800 more (summer '91 was one of the best times of my life) but that doesn't take away from the greatness of T-1000. I was a huge fan of T2 so these were no brainers. I liked IM so I've thought of a BD IM but IM2 was meh so I could care less about any of the new IM2 figs no matter how much "better" the MkIV or MkV would be than the OG suit.

That's a tough one. The T-800 is more essential because, well it's Arnold! But i'd say the T-1000 has a slight edge in the likeness and accessories department. Both's outfits are pulled off terrifically, but I think pulling off Arnold's outfit is more impressive due to the leather jacket and pants.

So it's a tie IMO.

You missed out display value.

I'm making good use of the T-800 arm as a little display. I've been doing up an old wooden curtain pole, square base, drilled, sprayed silver for a mini stand to plug the endo arm in and weathering up the arm with tamiya silver thats currently unfinished.

I'll pop it in front of Arnie since he already has the box roses accessories.
