I passed on this figure when it was initially released and regretted it. I just recently purchased one from a member on these boards and man what a great figure.

He included a 2nd body so I could display the motorcycle cop right away too.

With what this figure came with and what it cost initially, is a real sign of where we were a few years ago compared to today.

The new Bane figure costs around 20 - 30 bucks more than what this did at its release and comes with practically no accessories.

This is one of the best bang for your buck figures.

I had to get him on eBay, he's going for a quite a bit more than the original retail price but yeah with all his accessories, extra outfit and alternate head I'd definitely say he's better value than something like Bane or Superman. Quality wise he's still pretty good looking.

Great shots! I have mine in the for sale section as I moved away from collecting Terminator figures. I believe this figure is the last Hot Toys big bang for the buck figure we'll ever see (a shameless peg for my sale but 100% the truth as well). I'm tempted to keep it as he was one of the best villians of all time. Just a ruthless killer but looked like a normal guy. Awesome.

There's a hole in the shirt above the pocket. I assume this is to place the pen, but the hole is far too high to make the pen look as is it's in the pocket. Is this a common issue or is there another way to place the pen?

Don't know, The guy I bought it from sold it as from the Sarah Conner in disguise extra, Although it was a right bastard to fit on the figure so I duno, Good paint apps on it though, Some one post their official HT one for comparison pls.

I've got a bad feeling that this is going to get a 2.0 or up-dated version very soon and then this figure will be hitting the secondary market in droves (or pieced out one). I'm having second thoughts now about getting any more and just waiting for the new one. I wonder if it could be a DX (PERS) version?.

I hope you are right. I sold both the MMS T-800 and the T-1000 almost a year ago and have been regretting it since then. I still need to get the new T-800 but I need a T-1000 as well, as I like to display the protagonists together on the detolfs.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised. I think HT want to draw out the Terminator lines as long as possible. I'm also half expecting a DXed T1 Tech Noir with headsculpts done in the new (DX10) Arnie aesthetic.
