What are the odds that between now and the release date they they'll change the head likenesses and make it look more like Worthington's Marcus???

I would say its very likely, All of the pictures we've seen say 'Not final product'
and we know they are already updating the John Connor sculpt. Hot Toys almost never releases a product without some changes.

One thing I noticed in the film which probably hurts the likeness on this figure, the only time you really saw his eyes as blue was

when they bring him into the medical area after the mine field.

I think if the eyes on the figure were almost black, that'd help a bit, not sure it's the only thing throwing folks off, but it will make a difference when you see really light eyes and on screen you see really dark ones.

I just returned from the movie, absolutely fantastic. I hope the likeness is improved but I will be getting Marcus. His character owned

If T-600 would be your first Endo figure from Hot Toys, I'd say keep it, the work they do on that is so impressive it's worth having one in your collection, but if it's not, Marcus is a much more unique and I think cooler looking figure and certainly comes with more goodies.

this. I'm getting conner, marcus, and the 600. but the real question is, after seeing this movie, will hot toys release a chromed T 800? I sure as hell hope so, it turned out to be the big bad guy in the end, hopefully hot toys has something up there sleeves for this. Is it just me or did the 800 look alot bigger in this movie than it did in the past movies? it looked like it was bigger than the 600.

I think it looked bigger, because your eyes were wide open and the action was bigger. Longer fight scene. I liked seeing the T-800 "stick the landing." I am hoping for a re-release of the T-800 in chrome.

One thing to remember too, we haven't really seen a T-800 interacting with people where it wasn't partly animatronic. I imagine on T1, between the stop motion integration and some of the scaling they had to do to move around the life size parts, it's true size may not have come through, and with T1, there was such a fear factor going, it didn't have to be dead on in physical presence because it was the continuous attacking that made it scary.

yea, I never had the chance to get the 800 but I'm not really interested unless it's chrome. and the 800 looked to me, like it was designed to actually fill out the body of the bulky human tissue, were in the previous movies, I thought the 800 was considerably smaller compared to the build of arnold, were here, it looks to match the build of a body builder, it looked much bulkier.

Ah, I was wondering about that. I thought the CG face-mapping technology was fantastic but was wondering who they used for the Arnie body double.

Indeed, unless you want to sit and do a full on muscle comparison, I felt completely like it was Arnold, I didn't stop and think ooh look it's Arnie's head on someone's body, it was just like woah, it's T1 T-800 on the attack. I was also pleasantly surprised. I figured it would just a be a shot, I didn't expect and sort of interaction.

Definitely getting the Marcus figure!

I'm canceling the T-700, though. I'll keep the Factory (especially since it's actually a T-800) and T-600, but the 700 is going bye-bye.
