if it wasnt WOLVERINE it wouldnt be worth a damn thing right now lol...the value is all character, not the figure itself

Of course, but even awesome characters like the T1 T800 are even better because they come packed with multiple weapons and head sculpts.... Imagine if we got a second head sculpt with Wolverine? EVERYONE would be bashing a WWII version, etc.:lecture

oh I completely agree...its because:

A. They were rushed to release Wolverine

B. They know they are making another better one

or

C. All of the above

I'm happy with this version myself. The X Movie costume was just too lame, as was the feathered hair.... Also, aside from X-Men United I liked Origins best... Sure, Deadpool was lame but he's not all that important a character to me.

I'd grab a second head and claws though.

Yeah it's a knock off, I didn't know it when I bought it ($60). It was done it rubber and looks pretty good, I planned on busting it up anyway so I'm kind of glad its not the real deal.

Are you sure the neck joint is attached within the rubber neck sleave? Maybe it's come apart inside there?
I did some more inspection, and it is the neck joint itself that is loosely connected to the body. The head itself seems to latch onto the neck just fine. I tried pushing it down pretty forcefully with no change, but maybe I just haven't lined it up correctly. Or, maybe it's connected but just a bit loose. Maybe I'll mess with it some more later.

Maybe....:lecture

I already did that. I thought they looked like the same body for the most part, but the paint apps looked a little different. I wanted to be sure since the pics weren't the best, so I figured I could ask here since a lot of guys do customizing work.

The Wolverine I just received has a little bit of paint wear on the neck area, so I was wondering if a Dastan body would work as a replacement if I decided to do that. It seems that it probably doesn't have the same paint apps, so I might just leave it as is.

yeah the paint is different and if you're referring to wolverine having his neck hair rubbed away because of the head touching it thats very common.

It says in his instructions to lift his head before turning it but many people ignore it I guess.

I do that every time and even I have a slight bit of wear on his neck.
