That guy wouldn't show pics of the face or any other content.. He keeps saying if he opens it, I gotta buy it because it'll loose its "Mint in Sealed Box" status

Just agree to buy it and when his pics come through if it's fake obviously don't go through with it, he can't force you to buy it and sellers can't even leave negative feedback

It's a bit of a stupid ultimatum on his half

this is my plan, i really want a nice wolverine cos he just looks awesome, but i may aswell wait till the new one is out and see which i prefer.

The seller agreed to return my money today (got it all back, thank God).

Will stay away from HT Wolverine instead, as I can't muster buying a figure worth US$500+, as that money can buy two (even three) boxed sets already.

That's how I heard it too. Honestly though I would rather just have a strait up re-release. They don't need to change anything.

Has HT ever done that? Do another run on a product after it was gone for a while?

I really would love this figure to complete my figures that represent the Marvel movies on my shelf. As much as I could get into collecting them all (the whole avengers team is tempting), it's just not realistic both cost wise and space wise. So, I have Reeves Superman and Keaton Batman now displayed in front of my DC comic movies and I have HT Spiderman 3 and Captain America FA for my Marvel movies. I want Wolverine so I have an X-men to go with my Spidey and Avenger- I figure those three are the most iconic for Marvel.

Anyway, between the high price for an after market one on ebay and the fear you would end up with a fake anyway I really want a re-release of the figure.

My only other hope is to wait and see if someone would sell one loose and without the box. I don't need the box- its going up on my shelf. If anyone wants to sell one let me know.

Otherwise I will have to wait for whatever figure gets made when the next Wolverine movie comes out- it will be a while waiting on that and who know what kind of costume Wolverine would be in. The origins figure reminds me of wolverine in all his x-men appearances and I am not sure if I only get one I want him in the specific attire he may have on in the next movie taking place in Japan.
