This figure looks great. I originally was going to pass on this but after seeing all the pics I know I would regret it if I didn't buy one now. Plus it may cost a small fortune to get one in the future.

Just got mine delivered yesterday, and I'm really impressed; This thing is truly a work of art. Hot Toys is consistently the only company where everytime I get a new figure from them, it becomes my favorite figure of all time.

Wolvie is no exception. :rock
Though since I finally have it and love it, it just means I only have two days to enjoy it before HT announces an even better 2in1 X-Men version with moveable eyes, real human skin and body hair.

For those who have this how does the Wolverine body differ from the TrueTypes in terms of size. Is it a lot bigger to the TrueTypes or are they almost similar??

Does that special edition one have rubber on it?

The only rubber part is the groin area, his trunks are in effect rubber. The rest of the body has a more matte rough finish. I think it's obvious with the extra leg musculature and the rubber trunks (which mean the legs can move more, especially back) that this has been developed with an eye on the tight costumed Marvel super heroes.

I've heard that the Holiday contest body is closer to the Slim TT than the Narrow overall, is this true?

I'd say it's somewhere between, it's similar to the narrow shouldered. But it feels different in your hands, kind of similar to the classic Medi RAH's, but more sturdy. Everything is nice and tight though.

Thanks, RollingJ was able to put the Medicom Wolverine suit sucessfully on that new body, but it's too small for a Narrow so I figured it must be closer to a slim, which is pretty much Medicom RAH sized.

Recieved my Wolverine in post today. I have to say even though there are some great photo's in this thread it looks even better in person. I love the fact that the neck is posable under the rubber. The details like the veins etc are perfect.

I'll take some photo's when I get some time later in the week.

ok, in hand, this looks a lot more like jackamn than in the pics. i eat my words somewhat. i still don't think it's 100% likeness but it's damn close.

what i'm more surprised about is that i knew i'd like this fig. but when you see it in person, it's damned incredible. i still think the outfit is it's best part. it's amazing.

My mum ordered this for me from ebay about 3 weeks before xmas and still hasn't recieved it, which royally sucks! im hoping its going to arrive and that she doesn't have to go through some dispute with them.

I'd rather just see Hot Toys release their own Trilogy Wolverine and completely obsolete the Medicom figure. Medicom's was good for it's time, but Hot Toys has bested them in sculpt, paint, and real metal claws and I have no doubt they'll make a better suit for the figure, so it's just a matter of time before Medi Wolverine is a novelty.
